Things don't look good for the re-scheduled show in UFA tomorrow but we are giving the promoter (who, to be really honest, is a bit of an amateur) every chance to comply with the basic production rider so we'll see.

Anyway the drive to Ekaterinburg was boring but, thankfully, only a couple of hours and we went straight to the venue.

The billing for this show was a bit questionable and I let them know how I felt about that. After Romi had translated it, he translated my comments to the local promoter!!

United Sound is a good company and this was our third show with them. We had a slight voltage supply problem in the venue, which the Hammond didn't like, but we were able to work around it and had another excellent show. It was a short night though. UFA was finally cancelled and so our train was re-scheduled for early in the morning to go straight to Kazan.

On the way to the hotel we made a pit-stop for dinner at an Arabic restaurant where the menu was mainly Uzbekistan and absolutely delicious but unfortunately we only had time to "nibble and run"… too bad but we need to get some sleep!! Night!

Next day...
