August 5th 2004
Today I am going back to Spain to get myself and
the band ready for the Klasvik Festival in The Faroe Islands but,
before I go, we have some more work to do so I am in the studio
early this morning. The things we have to do are small things but
Sasha needs my help to get them done so he can continue working
after I leave. We need to transfer tracks, make some Pro Tools files
so I can do a couple of things at home and I still have one guitar
track to do. If we have time we need a little more footage for the
"July Morning" video and then Tim and I have to leave for the
airport. It’ll be crowded but I am not panicking… wouldn’t be much
point in that would there?
But I won’t have time to get any more info to you
before I leave so I am sending this now and I’ll fill in the blanks
when I get home.
I miss my “family” (though I admit I do talk to
the dogs over the phone every now and then) and, as well as the
Faroes show, I have to prepare for a solo show in St. Petersburg on
the 20th (just me, my guitar and a piano) so, after a
couple of days rest, I’ll be busy again!
I’ve enjoyed sharing this with you and I hope
you’ve enjoyed it too. There’ll be lots more to come but in the
meantime, I hope you’ll be well, happy and love one another!
