It was cold and snowing at 05:00 as I headed for Arlanda, the main airport
serving Stockholm. The lack of sleep hurt a bit, but at least there was no
traffic and the journey was short. The flight was with Sterling and,
although they have some weird baggage rules (like you can’t check musical
instruments) they are a much more professional operation than Ryanair!!
Also, the
flight was only 30% full and I ended up with a row all to myself so I was able
to sleep for a couple of hours!! Alberto picked me up and soon I was home
and happy.
It had been
a busy and interesting few days and we had a lot of good results to show for it.
Now I have
a week to get ready for the tour and a lot to do!!
