Well… the rest of this tale is rather sad
and I am sorry to say that we will not be playing here at all. I
won't bore you with all the details but it involves a lot of lies,
deceit and treachery between the promoters, agents and others who
are supposed to work together to make these things happen. A lot
of money (not mine) and ego (not mine either) is involved…
same old story really!!
The reason I feel bad is for the fans. This gig was totally sold
out and they are the ones who are really suffering. I just hope
they are able to get their money back and I also hope that we will,
one day, be able to come back and set this straight.
For now though, everything needs to be re-scheduled and that's not
easy because this is a traditional holiday period in Russia and
a lot of things are either closed or only open for half a day.
I am going to concentrate on resting and getting rid of this cold
today. I am not terribly helpful in these situations and there are
enough decent people involved in sorting it all out so I will leave
it to them.
