This “lost” thing is becoming a major pain!

It started when Rino picked me up in Stockholm and it happened again to Poor Ole!! He left put diesel in the truck and was never seen again… no, not really, but he couldn’t find his way back to the hotel so we could leave. Surely this is the end of it… isn’t it?

As it happened it didn’t matter too much because Eric and Willy were both lost in space after partying a bit too hard last night so we were late leaving anyway. I hate days off!!

But we finally got on the road to Stockholm (I am writing this in the van) and we’ll see what happens when we try to find the hotel there!!

Stay tuned to this channel for regular “lost” updates. I certainly hope this doesn’t happen when we are on the boat… aaaaagggghhhh!!

What is rock & roll coming to?? I remember what it was like way back then but it just occurred to me this morning… our van has a constatnt supply of fresh fruit, coffee, soft drinks, mineral water etc., and while we were waiting for lunch four of us were working on our laptops, wirelessly drifting around the stratosphere known as the internet. It’s certainly different!!

And it doesn’t end there either… as Petter pointed out as we were checking in to the hotel we were all asking about wireless internet access instead of directions to the bar!!

And, as we drove through Stockholm, Ken (junior) picked up someone’s network on his Mac. Ken says thank you Thomas! You didn’t have a clue did you!! And I am reading a John Grisham book called The Broker which is a lot to do with computers… I can’t put his books down once I start reading them!!

Life on the road has changed a lot even over the last few years!!

Into the hotel, located in the port and off to the city to troll around a bit!!

It’s cold and dark (I don’t think it really gets light here in the winter) and it’s trying to snow but it was much more fun in the city than in the hotel. Morty, Magne and I got to shop a bit and we decided to eat downtown, found a Thai restaurant and got back to the hotel in time for a quick beer with the band before they went out.

Stockholm is a beautiful city and it is very lively but it doesn’t have much of a sense of “fun” about it, a little bit like Madrid really. I remember it was always a bit like that.

Basta para hoy!!

Next day...
