DAY 3 Today started with a meeting with concert promoters at Sony's office to discuss details of a possible tour. We'll be talking more about this on Wednesday. Then a little time for shopping and back to the hotel to rest and change strings ready for tonight's TV show… roughly translated as "Songs for Grown-Ups"!! But first a radio interview at one of the biggest radio stations in Russia at which I played live and talked for a long time about Heep and many other things, prompted by questions called in by listeners!!! Then we rushed to the televison station so we could wait a long time!! The show was great and it was live. We were on the air for an hour and I played parts of 5 songs and, again, answered lots of questions called into the show from all over the Federation. By the end of the show I was really tired and glad to get back to my room! No partying for this kid! So far, I have to say that this has been the best organised promotional trip I have done in a long, long time, and I am really thankful to the people at Sony Music Russia!! Good night! |
