CLOSING THOUGHTS...
Musically speaking this trip was amazing. We met
some wonderful people and were overwhelmed with the kindness and
friendliness everywhere. Finding out that "Running Blind"
was the number one selling CD in Russia was cause for celebration…
we just didn't have time!!! But we will. Andy and Alex… you
guys were very cool!
I love Russia and I love the spirit of the people. One day, though
maybe not in my lifetime, Russia will be an even more powerful and
influential nation and the people will have fully recovered from
so many years of poverty and oppression. As far as organising concerts
is concerned they have a lot to learn and I can only hope that we
helped them learn a little bit during our visit.
To the many friends we made and met in Russia I say a big "thank
you" for making this dream come true and to all of you who
were not there but who have read this little story I hope it has
given you a little of the flavour of our latest adventure! Don't
go away because Europe is fast approaching though I haven't decided
what to name that tale yet… "the world is our dressing
room, they haven't built the stage yet!"
