DAY TWELVE

Amazing… I woke up right as we crossed from Austria into Germany and just in time to see one of the most beautiful sights in the world… the Alps! Still snow-capped and majestic it was just an awesome sight and I must have seen it a thousand times before! Now we are about 2 hours from Heidelberg so we won't have a lot of time when we get there! More later…

Well, we made it to Heidelberg but only just in time! We ran into so much construction on the Autobahns and at one point traffic was diverted THROUGH Munich!! The only problem this caused was that we had to cancel the opening act because the stage was far too small for two bands. This was really sad because I had asked all the promoters to use a local opening act and these guys lost their opportunity. Hope they'll forgive me!

Anyway a big crowd made all the hassle worthwhile. This was a great show musically and the audience sang as loud as any so far! The film crew from "Underground Live" will have some excellent footage from this show and I am looking forward to seeing it!

Tomorrow is a day off so we will leave at around 6am for the long drive to Hannover. Looking at the map I can see that this tour is not routed as well as it could have been but work is work right?

Next day...
