A LITTLE EPILOGUE…
This has all been an amazing experience
for me and I have had to learn and re-learn many things. The success
I enjoyed with Uriah Heep was many things and among them it was
definitely the realisation of a childhood dream. I had dreamt about
being on-stage, making records, having someone ask me for my autograph,
riding in a limo, getting gold records and there it all was……
happening right in front of me!
In the last nine months or so, since I began planning this phase
of my life-dream, I have received a lot of invaluable encouragement
and commitment from friends, family, business associates and, of
course, the band! And there has also been the (almost inevitable)
negativity, doubt, and skepticism from those who not only forecast
failure for others but seem prepared to accept it for themselves
too. This I find particularly strange, especially since I always
thought that "if you could dream it you could have it"!
I really believe in this project and in its future potential and
I am certain that God will use the gift He gave me for great things.
I don't know where, when or how but I know it will happen! Am I
crazy? Perhaps, but I do know one thing. I will go on dreaming and
I will go on writing and I will go on playing as long as there is
just one person who wants me to and, even if it all ended tomorrow,
I wouldn't regret any of it! This chapter of my life is only just
beginning and I am very excited about sharing it with you!! Thanks
