This muffler is designed to provide the best silencing possible. Normally a Generator will make enough noise to raise the dead, and alert everybody with in 5 miles that you have one if they would like to have it. So here is a way to hopefully silence the little bugger. Essentially, it is a hole in the ground with the exhaust pipe stuck in to it and then covered with dirt.
Parts: 1 piece of flexible Gas Line (the kind you use on your stove)
1 piece of 1 inch PVC 1 foot long (this is your vent pipe)
  Boards to cover the hole

The length of the gas line is determined by the distance from the generator to the hole. Make sure the hole is on high ground so that water does not fill the hole when it rains.

Instructions:
Remove the muffler from the generator.
Attach the gas line to the Exhaust port of the generator
Dig a hole 24 inches deep and 12 inches wide (save the dirt)
Put the end if the gas line into the hole to a depth of 18 inches.
Put the boards over the hole.
Put the vent pipe in the hole extending about 4 inches above the boards.
Cover it all with dirt.
That's it….your done.
