TRICK OR TREATING
How about the kid who told me "that's not a treat" as I gave him a package
of peanutbutter crackers. Don't try to trick those kids out of their favorite
little candy bars.
Our house always has one or two enthusiastic souls (adults) who come "Trick or Beering". Paul (not to mention any names) works for weeks on his costume just to get that free beer. To be honest he doesn't stop at too many houses.
Caution-- Testing of this theory could be dangerous to your health and
well being, in more ways than one!!!
Halloween, a time of magic, also became a day
of divination, with a host of magical beliefs: for instance, if persons
hold a mirror on Halloween and walk backwards down the stairs to the basement,
the face that appears in the mirror will be their next lover.
