Dave's Favorite Things to Cook!


      Oven-Barbecued Steak

      3 lbs round steak1/2 c. vinegar
      2 Tbsp salad oil1/4 cup Brown Sugar
      3 Tbsp Instant Chopped Onions1 Tbsp prepared mustard
      3/4 cup catsup1 Tbsp Worsestershire Sauce
      3/4 cup watersalt and pepper
      -
      Cut meat into serving pieces. In large skillet, brown meat in oil over medium heat; remove meat to Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients to skillet. Simmer 5 minutes. Pour catsup mixture over meat. Cover; bake 2 hours or until meat is tender.

      Broccoli Beef Wellington

      1# ground beef           9 oz thawed broccoli     
      4 oz mozrella cheese     2 (8oz)refrigerated cresent rolls
      1/2 cup onion            1/4 t. salt
      1/4 t pepper              1 egg, beaten
      1/2 c. sour cream
      Poppy seeds

      In medium skillet brown ground beef and onion, drain well. Add broccoli, cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper. Mix well.
      Roll dough into 13"X 7" rectangle. Spoon meat mixture on top of dough, fold dough over, seal long edges. Brush with egg, sprinkle with poppy seeds.
      Bake 18-22 minutes at 375*


      Sassy Beef & Noodles


      Quick-Easy-Good
      1 # hamburger                     1 can beef broth      
      1 sm onion                        1 can mushroom soup
      3 c. uncooked med egg noodles      salt and pepper
      1/4 tea hot pepper sauce          1 c water
      
      Brown beef with onion.  Add mushroom soup, pepper sauce, salt and
      pepper.  Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 10 minutes 
      or until noodles are done.  Stir often.
      


      PIZZA SANDWICH

      1# ground beef                 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
      2 cans (8oz) tomato sauce      1 egg
      1 tsp oregano                  2/3 c. milk
      8 slices American cheese       1/4 c. Parmesan Cheese
      4 oz mozzarella cheese
      1 can sliced mushrooms
      
      Cook ground beef.  Add 1 can tomato sauce and oregano.  Stir 
      baking mix, egg, and milk to a soft dough.  Spread half of dough
      in a greased 9X9X2 pan.  Pour remaining tomato sauce over dough,
      Layer cheses, meat, mushrooms, parmesan cheese.  Cover with 
      remaining dough.  Bake at 350, 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
                           4-6 servings.
