Here are some of Bryan's comments:
Engine: Stock 20R head and block. Dual Weber side draft carbs (with choke!), MSD6A ignition, and headers. I added a higher lift cam at a later date. The exhaust system was stock (no cat) with Anza muffler which sounded really good. It now has a custom made 2.5 inch exhaust with Flowmaster muffler which is a bit too loud. The mechanical throttle linkage to the carbs looks nice but created problems when the engine would torque over under acceleration. I later replaced it with a throttle cable. Nice looking engine but not very fast because of low compression (8.4:1).
Headlights replaced with Hella's with 90W/100W bulbs.
Suspension: Stiffer springs, lowered, Tokico Illumina shocks in front and KYB in rear, Suspension Technics anti sway bars front and rear. Wheels are 15" with 205 50 tires.
Interior: Recaro seats, rear seats refurbished, new carpet, etc. Steering wheel falling apart. Speedo from a 1978 Celica so it goes to 120 mph (not 85 mph). Interior is in very good shape considering the age.
Stereo: Sony DiskJockey 10 disk CD changer, 80 watt amp, rear subwoofers, mid range in the doors, tweeters on the dash. This was in 1986... the first auto CD changer made!
The car has been driven little in the last few years and has been somewhat neglected (I've got an 85 MR2 and NSX as distraction). The current engine is a 22RTE from a turbo truck, but I didn't get the EFI computer so it is running with the Weber carbs and without the turbo. Even slower now with 7.5:1 compression, stock cam, and restrictive 22R head.
