| The Malvern Hills (June 23, 1996) These are the hills that inspired Langland to write 'The Vision of Piers Plowman', and is it any wonder? After climbing up to the Worcestershire beacon, I just HAD to sit down and sketch the view. Unfortunately, the sun set before I could finish (hence the blank outlines). The cap on the outlined hill to the right represents the remains of an old Roman fort. |
