Upstairs Inside The Old Tivoli
One of Our Night Lurks, October 1997

Popularity of the D.A.M.C. club greatly increased after the appearance of the Tivoli Hotel Virtual Tour, and many new members were initiated during the numerous Lurks to the Hotel throughout October. Here, the gang is landing on the second floor from the previously undiscovered flight of service stairs (almost directly above the kitchen scene prior). Unlike the main staircase, these run the whole height of the building, and even access the roof.

A monolithic relic from better days in this Hotel stands guard along one of the passways. Too huge to be easily moved ( almost four feet tall), this sign remains a prime target for retrieval by our Cultural Preservation Department. Does anybody remember what 'on draught' really means, anyway? To its credit, Schlitz beer has outlasted the success of the Hotel.

In the bathroom of one of the master suites, Connie enjoys a smoke after an energetic initiation procedure. Boy, were we pissed to find out their wasn't running water up here! Welcome to the Club, Connie!!
Time to move on to the next level and continue with the tour. John thanks new member Kevin B. for the photos from the night Lurk.
