So the first question on everyone's
minds, what do you look like?
Asian-like. All you American types
have a good stereotypical mental image now I'm sure. For further
proof, head on down to the bottom of the page for the photo gallery.
So, what's your name?
Tim. Akuo for most all 'net related activities.
What's it from? It's from Final Fantasy I for NES back in
the day. Play it and see if you can find it. Otherwise,
after 9 years of using it I finally find out that in some form of
Japanses Kanji it means "Bad." How ironic.
Where are you from?
Lubbock, Texas (2 hours south of Amarillo
if you didn't know, but why would you know where Amarillo is?)
It's a little dusty, a little boring, and very windy but it's home
nonetheless.
What do you do?
Heh, what don't I do? I'm a EE/CS
major (yeah, yeah dork...but whatever...) up at Texas Tech University
where (coincidentally enough) I also work.
Where did you go to school?
Graduate of Frenship High (yes I spelled
that right) but let's never talk about that incident again.
What are your interests??
Um... Strawberries, music (Dave
Matthews Band, Collective Soul, Fuel, etc...), gaming (mostly computer
gaming i.e. Starcraft/Warcraft/Zelda/Mario), Green (the non soylent variety), Calvin
& Hobbes, a good dose of Anime every now and then (Fushigi Yuugi,
Rurouni Kenshin, Dragonball, Combustible Campus Guardress), and
sleep, lots of sleep. I have a newfound respect of Mountain
Dew. I think it's that I used to only drink it at Taco Bell
and it was really loaded on the carbonated water, but in a can it's
heavy on the syrup.
Any future plans?
Snag degrees in CS (Or that Interdisciplinary
Gaming program at UoC), grab a cool job, learn how to program life
itself, and after many years of hard work, I can kick back as ruler
of the world. Nothing big =) Just every kid's dreams.
Not necessarily in that order though.
What all is involved in creating
your webpage?
I use FrontPage 2000, Macromedia Dreamweaver,
and Adobe Photoshop as far as software used in creating the page.
Hardware wise I have a BRAND NEW CUSTOM BUILT RIG! Pentium IV
1.6GHz (shoved ruthlessly up to 2.2GHz), 512MB DDR PC2700 RAM,
SoundBlaster Live MP3+ 5.1, Klipsch
Pro Media v2-400, Toshiba PCX1000 Cable Modem, 80 gig Western
Digital Ultra ATA 100 hard drive, 20 gig Maxtor
hard drive, 19" Hitachi Monitor,
Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer
and Internet Keyboard Pro, Lite-On 48x12x48 Burner (It 0wnz j00!),
Pioneer 16x DVD ROM (which also 0wnz j00),
Umax Astra 2100U scanner, Vivi, Optimus Prime (Armada), my Terran Marine and Orc Grunt toys for inspiration,
and lots of cereal/tacos/strawberries/snapple/chips/sandwiches/pizza
pockets for fuel.
Why is it your webpage takes
so long to load?
I hadn't noticed. Break free
