Resist or Serve Resist Or Serve: The season 5 guide to The X-Files

This is the second guide written by Andy Meisler. This guide has detailed synopses of each and every episode of the 5th season, and lots and lots of pictures. It also has a section in the middle with color photos. Back stories on every episode, full of interviews and what happened during the making of. Andy still has his gift. Great book for Philes, newbies, and all the rest.

I Want to Believe: The season 4 guide to The X-Files

This is the first guide written by Andy Meisler. This book is better than the first two in the length and detail of the episode synopses. The formatting is origional, creative, and it looks great. This is a great book for fans, or anyone who wants to know more about the show. All around, it's a great book for a great season! I hope that Andy will continue to write the official guides in the future.

Trust No One: The season 3 guide to The X-Files

This is the second book written by Brian Lowry. I like the color photos in the middle of the book. The length and detail of the synopses are better than what they were in the first book. Still, they are somewhat vague, and leave you wondering at times. I like that little Questions and Answers thing at the end. Overall good book for those who haven't seen the 3rd season; but for those who have, you'll prbably not learn much, if anything at all.

X-Treme Possibilities: a comprehensively expanded rummage through 5 years of The X-Files

Comprehensive is the key word in this book. It truly is one of the most detailed books that I have read on this show, let alone any show. The sections break apart each episode, so you can get something you might have missed. But, as with any unnoficial guide, there are bound to be errors; and this book has it's share. But it's a great try by these British authors.

The X-Files: Antibodies

Another great book by Kevin J. Anderson! It has an interesting plot, and vivid detailing. Great use of words. The storyline kept me interested throughout the whole book, save 2 or 3 pages. Hardly any dull moments. A must read!
Note: Keep in mind that Scully still has her cancer.
