The series takes place in the 24th century
and chronicles the adventures of the Starship U.S.S.
Voyager which, after encountering a
tremendous spatial wave, finds itself in a distant part of the galaxy along
with a former enemy, the Maquis. More than 70,000 light years from home,
the crews must join together in order to find their way back to Federation
space.
