       Aikuchi and Tanto   
      Curved throwing daggers. The Tanto has a hilt while the Aikuchi does not. 
      • Damage: 3 

      Bisento 
      A large spear with a broad, curved blade. 2.1 meters long 
      • Damage: 8 

      Blade Flute 
      A truly devious weapon popular with assassins and ninja. Resembling a modern flute it will produce clear music, all of the keys work and can even be partially disassembled. But the flute is solidly built and can be used as a club or to parry attacks. When a particular combination of keys are pressed, a tiny dart is loaded into the spring loaded tube, and another set of keys will fire the dart. Even more clever is the short blade that will pop out from the end of the flute when yet another set of keys are pressed. These items are extremely rare. 
      • Damage: Club- 3 
       Blowgun: 1 
       Blade: 3 

      The Brass Man 
      Three feet long and made of brass, this odd looking weapon resembles a statue of a man, his arms crossed and legs together. Wielded like a club, it weights over 200 pounds and packs a substantial hit. Requires a minimum body stat of 8 to use. 
      • Damage: 10 

      Bokken 
      A wooden version of the katana traditionally used as a practice sword.  
      • Damage: 7 

      Double Bladed Sword 
      Two katana blades attached either side of a two-handed hilt. This vicious, five-foot long weapon takes a great skill to wield effectively as the slightest slip will do as much damage to the wielder.
      Damage: 10
      A critical failure occurs on a roll of 2-4 unless the character takes it as a Focused Combat weapon.

      Full Moon
      A metal of hard-wood ring attached lengthwise down a handle, this weapon is used to pin sword and spear thrusts. Long curved blades protruding from either side of the handle are then used to slash at the arms and chest of the trapped opponent. Occasionally the ring itself is edged.
      Damage: 6 (7 if ring is edged)
      When used to Parry successfully, the opponent's sword is pinned by the ring. It requires n opposed Body roll with a +1 to free the trapped blade. Until then the pinned blade cannot be used.

      Jitte or Sai 
      These weighted, three pronged forks are designed to be used as a pair. They are used to parry and pin sword blades. Modified farming tools, they are popular among peasants who are not allowed to carry swords.  
      • Damage: 6 

      Kimono Arrow: 
      This weapon comes in two versions. The first is designed to strapped onto the forearm, hidden by the flowing sleeve of a kimono. Consisting of a hollow tube with a spring loaded bolt inside, it is fired by a trigger on the palm or on the bicep.  The second version is larger and is strapped to the back. It is designed to be fired while bowing and as such is a favored assassin's tool. 
      • Damage: Sleeve: 5  
       Back: 7 

      Kusari-Fundo 
      A longer, heavier version of the Manriki-Gusari. It is difficult and awkward to use and must be specifically trained in its use (consult your GM) or suffer a -2 to the Combat Value when using.  
      • Damage:8 

      Naginata 
      A long spear similar to the Yari, but with a curved blade. Popular with Femal Oni warriors. 
      • Damage: 7 

      Needle Sword 
      A common Jiite (or Sai) with a sharpened centre spike, these nasty weapons are often poisoned as well.
      Damage: 8

      Ninja Sword 
      Similar to the samurai Wakizashi but with a straight blade.  
      • Damage: 7 

      No-Dachi 
      A huge, two handed sword with a curved blade. Carried in a scabbard over one shoulder.(2meters - 6 feet long) 
      • Damage: 12 

      Nunchaku of the Three Reeds  
      Similar to traditional nunchaku, but made with three rods and two chains. It is difficult to use and cannot be used as a pair. 
      • Damage: 7 


      Sakaba Sword
       
      Worn by Samurai who have taken up the vow never to kill, the Sakaba appears at first glance to be a normal katana sword. However, the blade has been reversed to that the blunt side is presented to oppponents.
      Damage: 7
      On a critical damage hit, the opponent is automatically knocked unconscious.

      Shikomi-Zue 
      A hollow staffed concealing a spring loaded blade that can be fired by a trigger stud. Can also be used as a somewhat fragile bo staff. Popular with Brothers of the Wandering Staffs. 
      • Damage: 4 

      Sleeve Sword 
      Designed to be concealed up the sleeve, when first drawn this blade looks like a long dagger. But the handle is hollow and when snapped, the rest of the blade slides out to its full length. 
      • Damage:6 

      Snake-Headed-Sawtooth Blade 
      This is a cunningly crafted blade designed to strike fear into the heart of its opponents. Both edges are serrated like a hacksaw giving it a vicious appearance, that is augmented by the sharp, high-pitched hissing sound the sword makes when swung. Two small holes, often crafted to resemble snake-eyes, near the tip of the sword cause the unnerving hiss. 
      • Damage: 8 
      • Automatically gain initiative against opponents who are unfamiliar with this weapon. (One round only) 

      Staff-to-Heaven  
      A very long staff that is custom built to be twice the height of the wielder. It is difficult and awkward to use and must be specifically trained in its use (consult your GM) or suffer a -2 to the Combat Value when using. Expert users can fend off two attackers at once, gaining one extra defense maneuver (only) per round.  
       There are two types, either made of metal or wood. The metal ones are often hollow with wooden plugs. The hollow often used to carry water or other assorted goods. The metal ones can only be carried by characters with a Body Stat higher than 6 and are popular with Oni brothers of the Wandering Staff.  
      • Damage: 8 

      Steel-Blade Whip 
      A long whip made up of seven to twelve steel pieces ending in a sharp blade. Those unfamiliar with the weapon sufffer a -2 to their Combat Value when using, and a fumbled role automatically means that they suffer damage.  
      • Damage: 6 

      Sword Spear 
      This weapon combines a two foot wooden handle with a foot long sword blade. Most often used as a paired weapon. 
      • Damage: 7 

      Throwing Coins 
      Coins that have had their edges sharped. It takes at least a Body Stat of 5 or higher, or a sling to be able to throw them hard enough to do damage: 
      • Damage: 2

     
      Tonfa  
      A short wooden or metal weapon ideal for parrying and close combat. Resembles a night stick. 
      • Damage: 4 
      •+1 to Defense Combat Value.

     

      Two-Handed Mace 
      This giant weapon, that can range in size from three feet, to almost six feet long looks exactly like a normal mace with an extended handle that can be easily gripped by both hands. The head is most often a spiked cylinder, but any common head for a mace can be easily found. This weapon has become a popular favorite with Sumotori and Oni bandits.
      Minimum Body stat required to wield: (3ft) 5, (6ft) 7
      Damage: ( 3ft) 5. (6ft) 8

      Whip Swords 
      Consisting of twelve to twenty metal wedge shaped pieces tied to a silk rope. This weapon can be wielded like a whip and is often carried coiled on the belt. The hilt is hollow and the cord runs through to the pommel. The pommel is designed to that it can be pulled out and locked so that it pulls the cord tight. The wedges are designed to interlock so that when the cord is pulled tight, they snap together to form a solid blade.  
      • Damage: 6

      Zanbatachi 
      One of the largest hand-held weapons ever made, this massive sword was used to unhorse mounted warriors, but quickly fell into disuse as the pike gained in popularity. It measures close to eight feet long and consists of a broad flat, rectangular blade attached directly to a long, unadorned hilt.
      Damage: 13
      Minimum Body Stat required use: 9

"Asatachi" 
The Morning Sword
      Fearsome symbol of the Morning Knights, this blade was outlawed by the Sennyo soon after the  Knight's defeat on the shores of the Dawn River. Time passed and the Grey Sentinel were formed from the ashes of the human armies, proving their worth time and time again defending the Twilight Wall against the forces of Corruption. As a reward for their unending vigilance, the Sennyo loosened the restrictions and allowed Grey Sentinel the honour of welding Morning Swords in battle. 
       A triangular blade one meter long that attaches to a forearm guard, the sword is wielded like a , used to punch and slash at opponents. The forearm guard extends beyond the elbow and is attacked to leather and plate padding on the biceps and over the shoulder. The rig is complex, and must be specifically fitted for the wielder, but provides optimum protection without sacrificing flexibility. It is often used in conjunction with another sword or long knife. 
       When not in use, the blade can be flipped up so that it lies along the top of the forearm, the blade pointing above the shoulder. 
      Damage: 11
