The Arrowhead of Hedisato 
 This unique magical item, was made when the hero Hedisato placed it in his mouth before using it to kill the Flame Dragon of Krillmato. Truly blesses, his arrowhead has been found and lost throughout the millennia, though fakes appear almost yearly. 
 •Raises the wielders Combat Value by 5 for one shot only 
 •Does 30 damage. 2x to demons and dragons 
 •Cannot be fired at an innocent 
 

The Black Horse of Kanasoka  
 •A giant, life-size painting of a galloping black horse. Every night at midnight, the black horse comes alive and jumps from the painting to go galloping around. At the stroke of three, the horse, no matter where it is, dissolves and reapears in the canvas. The horse, when it first appears, will first attempt to get outside, smashing through rooms and furniture. Once outside, it becomes a little more calm and can be ridden by anyone brave enough to get near it. 
 

Club Of Iron 
 Favored weapons of demons, they have a short hilt wrapped in leather tanned from human skin The bulbous top is richly decorated with runes, jewels and  ghastly scenes of hell. 
 •Damage: 25-40 
 •Cursed: they do 25 damage the first time they are picked up. After that they cannot be dropped without powerful magical assistance. They clubs provide a doorway for the demons to speak to the wielder and the demons will constantly whisper and torment the wielder. It also acts as a homing signal for the demons, who may attempt to get it back. 
 

The Death Stone 
 •These stones are used by evil sorcerers to capture the spirits of the dead before they travel to the Afterland. Created by powerful demons and devils, they look like a normal stone, about the size of a watermelon. Powerfully cursed items, simply touching them does 2D6x10 damage and causes excruciating pain. (No actions for 2 rounds). The souls trapped inside is transformed into a Fox Spirit and is bound to the whims of possessor of the stone. They can only be set free by destroying the stone, and the evil magics that protect it. 
 

Eggshell Bombs 
 These delicate, but deadly weapons of destruction are carefully crafted by drilling two small holes in an egg, blowing out the yolk, filling the empty shell with powders, chemicals or magic and then stopping the holes with wax. Because they are so easy to make and conceal, they are carried by ninja and peasants alike. 
– Smoke Powder – 
 • Produces a large amount of thick smoke that will obscure vision and clog the lungs. 
– Explosive Eggs – 
 •Two eggs thrown (usually tied) together, they contain two substance that when mixed, produce an explosion that does 13 damage 
– Itching Powder – 
 •This eggs holds a powerful itching powder that can cause extreme discomfort. If a character is hit, they must roll less or equal to than their Body Stat on 2d6 every round for 1d6 rounds. There is a cumulative +1 to the role every round. 
 If they role higher than their Body stat then the must stop and scratch for one round or suffer -2 to their Combat and Defense Combat Values. No other actions are possible for that round spent scratching. 
– Acid – 
 •This egg is filled with a caustic substance that does 3 damage every round for 2d6 rounds or until washed off. 
–  Magical Net – 
 •This egg is filled with a spell that causes a small net to appear and entangle the nearest target. Dodge to avoid.  The spell lasts 2d6 rounds and cannot be broken by none magical means. 
– Demon Egg – 
 •These incredibly rare eggs are filled with the spirit of a magical creature such as a demon, kami or ghost. Once the egg is broken the spirit trapped inside will act within its nature, no longer bound by any restraints. 
 

Eight-Arms-Length Spear 
 This magical item is only specially made for female samurai. Almost three meters long, they can be wielded as easily as a normal sized spear, and can be carried without impediment, while still giving the benefit of reach and size. 
•+ 1 to initiative of wielder 
•Damage is 9 
•If anyone other than a female Oni wields this weapon, then they suffer a -2 to both their Combat Value and Combat Defense Value. 
 

Fan of the Autumn Winds 
 •When this simple fan, painted with an autumn scene, is waved about, a swirling wind carrying colourful autumn leaves appears. After one round there are enough leaves flying about to obscure vision for about fifty feet allowing the wielder one free action to escape, ambush or strike. (As a surprise attack) 
 

Hoichi's Biwa
When this enchanted stringed instrument is played, it can be used to imitate almost any sound. It can produce murmur, animal sounds, street noises or anything else the player can think of except for a clear human voice. When played by someone with musical ability it possesses the "Art of Distraction" Attribute at Level 3.

Gohei 
 A wand from which hangs strips of white paper cut into squares, threaded by a silken cord. Symbolizing the power of the     religion, they are carried by Hoan monks who wave them about in a ritualized dance to ward off demons and devils. They also be used to attract kami. 
 •Damage: 40 to demons and devils only 
 •If waved about, no demon or devil will enter the circle 
 
 

Hat of Invisibility 
 •This simple looking, traditional conical hat can render the wearer invisible up to six times per day, for up to one hour. 
 

Hoan Staff of Peaceful Defense 
 A simple wooden staff created by the oldest and most skilled Hoan craftsmen, these simple wooden staffs are individually made from cherry wood and presented as great gifts for worthy monks. Over time, they become so attuned to their owners that others find them discomforting to touch. 
 •A Magical Weapon 
 •Has 100 Energy points that can be syphoned and used by owner 
 •+1 to Defense Combat Value 
 •Does 10 damage. 20 to demons and kega. 
 •If anyone other than owner uses it in combat then they suffer a -2 to their Combat Value 
 

Kappa Fluid
This golden fluid, drained from the skull of a Kappa River Goblin can be processed by wizards and alchemists into a number of potions. Generally, each potion lasts for only an hour.
-Stat Enhancers: Raise one or all the character's basic Stats (Body, Mind, Soul).
-Point Enhancers: Raise the character's Health or Energy points.
-Combat Enhancers. Raise the character's Combat Value or Defense Combat Value.
There are a few cursed vials known to exist. One type will transform the character into a kappa. While others are the reverse of the Enhancers listed above. Their duration varies from a few hours to permanent.

Kimono of Taki Genda 
 •This simple red kimono will change the gender of the wearer until it is taken off. There are a few versions of this item that are cursed and will make the change permanent. 
 

The Limbless Statue 
 •This unique statue looks like a small, bald man with the face of a child. Dressed in an opulent kimono, the statue's four limbs have been broken off. When dropped into the sea, it will calm the most violent storm. 
 

The Living Statues
These magical statues will come to life under special conditions.
•Horse of Bronze: A life sized statue of a stallion, this animal will come to life whenever a saddle and bridal are placed on its back. The horse may be ridden for twelve hours at which point it will revert back to being a statue. It cannot be transformed again for another twelve hours. Attributes: Armored Skin: Type A. Level 3.
•Wooden Dragon: This dragon will come alive at night seeking food. A gluttonous creature, it will eat through the entire night, consuming any foodstuff it can find. It will not harm humans, but may go after livestock and other animals.
•Marble Deer: Traveling as a pair, this doe and buck are sometimes seen running through the woods at twilight and dawn. Considered ill omens, seeing one gives the person the "Divine Punishment Curse 2" for the duration of the day.
•Stone Tortoise: This giant (20 feet long) carving at the edge of a large lake comes alive once a day and endeavors to swim across the body of water. People can hitch a ride, intentionally or unintentionally if they sitting on the statue at the right time.

Lotus Blossom Slippers 
 •These beautifully crafted slippers are often made for Sennyo women. They are magically enchanted so that as the woman walks along, a trail of lotus blossoms bloom under her feet. The blossoms are convincing  illusions that look, smell and feel real, but will fade after fifteen minutes or so. 
 

The Lucky Raincoat  
 A simple yellow raincoat, complete with a big floppy hat and galoshes is actually a rare and powerful magical item. 
 •Gives the equivalent of the "Dive Relationship" attribute at level 3. 
 • It will not get wet in the rain. 
 

The Maiden's Bucket
This small, plain, wooden bucket is actually a cursed item. If this bucket is put over a person's head, it will become magically stuck and cannot be pulled off without seriously harming the wearer. The bucket reaches from the top of the head to the chin and severely limits the person's perception, muffling their hearing and limiting their eyesight to what they can see out of the bottom of the bucket. They can eat normally.
While the character is wearing the bucket, reduce their Combat Value and Defense Value by half (round up) and the character always loses initiative. The bucket can only be removed by a Level 3: Remove Curse Spell.

Nari-Kabura: The Singing Arrows. 
These arrows are hollowed or notched to produce a variety of noises when in flight. They are most commonly used as signals, with skilled fletchers able to reproduce the sound of birds or insects. A few have been crafted by mages, who weave spells into the wood and notch the shaft so that when fired, they sing the spell to unleash the magic contained within. The shaft are incredibly delicate and usually shatter on impact. 
 •Do less damage than normal arrows. Damage 4 
 •Almost any spell can be woven into the wood. 
 

Nunchakus of Hundred Strength 
These normal  looking nunchakus are actually powerful and rare magical items. 
•Damage 10 
•Add +1 to the Body Stat 
 

Paper Charms
Made by the holiest of mystic-mages, these small, rectangular slips of paper can possess many powers depending on their type:
• God Charms: Thought to bring luck, these charms have the name of a deity inscribed upon them. In game terms, a player can cash in a charms to re-roll any dice result.
• Charm of the Child's Hand: Baring the imprint of a small child's hand, these charms will cure 2D6 Hit points and cure minor curses.
• Text of the Hannya Sutra: these strips, when pasted to the forehead, will make the wearer invisible to the spirits and the undead for up to 1D6 hours. • Power Charms: These charms can be endued with magical power and a mystic character and flung at the enemy. Each charm must be constructed with a specific type of enemy in mind, (magical, Corrupted, psionic, mechanical etc) and are harmless to anything else. • Door Charms: Pasted over a doorway, these charms will block passage of anyone or anything that the creator wishes.

Pipe of Storms
•This seemingly ordinary pipe, carved into the shape of a crowing rooster is actually a dangerously cursed item. If carried onto a boat it will cause fierce storms when at sea. The only way to stop the storms is to throw the pipe overboard.

Rice Bag and Cooking Pot of Tawara 
 •He unique but highly prized  items are highly sought after farmers, merchants and daimyo alike. 
 •The Rice bag appears to be a large, full sack of rice. The bag, no matter how many times rice is removed, will never empty or rot. Much care must be made as to not tip the bag over, as rice will spill from the open mouth for eternity. 
 •The Cooking pot appears to be a battered old pot. Anything placed inside will begin to bubble and stew, as if the pot was over an open flame. 
 

The Robe of Feathers  
 •A robe made up of downy white feathers that allows the wearer to fly. (Flight Level:3)
 

Rod of Roads
•When carried, this simple red-oak staff will make any terrain feel like a flat, well paved road. It can be used in almost any terrain but water.

Sesshiu's Tears 
 •This appears most often as a small painter's inkwell filled with a clear, shining liquid. The liquid is actually the blessed tears of a famous artist and when used to paint anything, be it an object or animal, then that item will materialize and can be used as normal. The painting can be done on any flat surface and the item created will remain for twenty four hours. Artistic ability is not a prerequisit, as long as the paining is easily identifiable, then the object will appear.  Only mundane items may be created, no magical ones. 
 

Sheath of The Wooden Blade  
 •This ornate and beautifully crafted scabbard is covered in fine silk. Cursed, any blade placed into it will turn to wood (treat as a Bokken). Only the most gifted and talented alchemists can reverse the transformation. The only hint of this item's cursed nature is a small carving of a tree somewhere on its surface. 
 

Shimben-Kidoku-Shu 
 •This holy saki, blessed by a Nisou Hyourin (Sennyo priestess) is a powerful curative for Sennyo and all the Foundling races,  eliminating fatigue and restoring all lost Energy and Health Points. To those touched by the corruption, including the Touched,  it is a deadly poison that does 2d6x10 damage and reduces all Energy Points by half. The liquid is completely indistinguishable from normal saki. 
 

Shuriken of the Five Elements 
Magical weapons created by the alchemists of the NightShadow Ninja clan, these rare items, most often found in sets of five, represent the five elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind and Wood). 
 Nightshadow ninja consider them sacred weapons and will do almost anything to retrieve a lost set. 
– Shuriken of the Wind – 
 •Makes a sound like the east wind when thrown. It will scare away evil kami and kega if the roll when thrown is higher than their Defense Combat Value. 
 •Will return to caster when thrown 
 •Does 5 damage when thrown 
 •At the cost of 5 energy points it can  produce a Wind Blast that (10 damage) when thrown. The blast will knock over anything or anyone that suffers more that 5 damage. 

– Shuriken of Fire – 
 •Turns into a fireball when thrown doing 8 damage and igniting combustible material 
 
– Shuriken of the Earth – 
 • When held it gives its gives the character the equivalent to Level 2, type B armor, ON TOP of whatever they are already wearing. 
 • Does 6 damage when thrown 

– Shuriken of the Water – 
 • It spews a trail of water when thrown 
 •Does 5 damage 
 •Can be thrown underwater with no penalty and does 7 damage 

– Shuriken of Wood – 
 •Made of cherry wood 
 •Does 6 damage. Does 10 damage to vampires and undead 
 •Can heal damaged plants and repair objects made of plant material of placed in or near for 24 hours. 

Sparrow Baskets
•These two unassuming wicker baskets are an ancient test devised by some forgotten wizard. When someone approaches the baskets, a small sparrow appears and offers to gamble for the promise of riches. One of the baskets contains riches, while the other is empty. The person may only open one. If the person agrees, they must offer something of value (not necessarily an object) in return and then allowed to examine the baskets. One is heavy, the other is light. It is the light basket that contains the riches and if the person chooses correctly, the Sparrow sings happily and disappears, leaving 1D6x100 in gold, silks and silver (or any treasure they GM thinks is appropriate) . If the heavy basket is chosen, then the person gets nothing and the Sparrow will begin to demand payment. Attempting to attack or cheat the sparrow will cause it to disappear, along with the baskets AND the object or item put up as collateral. In addition, the person is afflicted with the "Divine Punishments" (see the Shigata Ga Nai High Changeroom) Curse.

Tea Set of the Froth of Liquid Jade
•This magical tea set comes with a small green kettle and four porcelain cups. When a green tea is boiled in the kettle and served in one of the blue cups, it becomes a magical elixir with the power to heal. It will cure most minor aliments and restore 2D6 Health Points and Energy Points per cup. The kettle will serve four cups per serving.

Tengu's Fan
These simple feather fan are carried by Tengu who transform into human form to turn back into Tengu. Without it the Tengu is stuck in human form and as such they guard these fans with their lives and obtaining one is rare.
If a character uses the fan, they can obtain some of the power of the Tengu. By concentrating and pumping 10 energy points into the fan, they character gains:
•Level 2: Acrobatics
•Level 3: Eyesight
•Level 3: Flight (with wings)
If the character already has one of these abilities, they gain a +1 to the Attribute level. For each 10 points spent, the powers last for one hour.

Tide Jewels
These two giant pearls are extremely rare and thought to be unique. When thrown into the sea, that control the waves themselves.
•Jewel of Ebb Tide: This dark red pearl, when thrown into the sea will cause the tides to flow out, leaving the beaches bare and the docks dry.
•Jewel of Flood Tide: This ivory white pearl, when thrown into the sea will cause the tides to come in higher and stronger than they have ever done before, flooding most of the coast.
The jewels themselves are one shot items and disappear soon after they disappear below the waves.
