DON'T PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the incredible universe of Douglas Adams. Writer of

Yes thats right! He is the genius that created the greatest SF comedy series of this and countles universes. Below are my reviews of his works. Links are to follow on my link page.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (1979)

Arthur Dent, everyone's favorite Homo Sapien, Wakes up one moring to find out that hes house is to be demolished, his freind, Ford Prefect, is an alien from a planet in the vicinity of Beatlegueis, and that the Vogons are about to blow Earth to bits! Just your average day.
This is the one that started it all! Come along on a roaring adventure in "The Heart of Gold", meet aliens of all species, learn why the towel is the greatest thing ever invented, and learn the answer to life the universe and everything.

The Restarant at the end of the Universe (1980)

Have a great meal at The Restaraunt at the end of the Universe. Don't forget to get off at your correct epoch. And don't trust ships named "Disaster Area!"
The second in the so appropriatly named Hitchhiker trilogy. Have a blast! And if your being audited you can always spend a year dead for tax purposes!

Life, the Universe, and Everything. (1982)

The third in the Hitchhiker trilogy. Enjoy being attacked by genocidal aliens, catch a ride on a sofa, and learn to fly!
This book is one of the best in the trilogy. I love the way everything comes together so well. Douglas Adams did a great job on this one.

So long and thanks for all the fish (1984)

Did the Vogons destroy earth? Find out in the forth book of the correctly named Hitchhiker trilogy. You might even meet a rain god, see god's last message to man, and get more flying practice.
This one was okay for me. I just didn't think Douglas Adams was moving along in the story fast enough for me. Try speed reading the middle of the book to hurry along to the good parts.

Mostly Harmless (1992)

The fifth in the increasingly accurate Hitchhiker guide trilogy. Strap on your towel and get some sandwiches ready. This time Arthur is on a dimmensional oddysy that would make the cast of "Sliders" hurl. this is one of the best books of the trilogy.
I loved it. I hear some people who want to rename the series the Hitchhiker Sexology. Sounds sane but the purpose of calling it a trilogy is in the same humor vein of the question to the answer of life, the universe, and everything.
I will add other works soon. Until then Don't panic.
