Science fiction...
Double feature...
I read alot of sf. Not the crap most of America consumes. Sure I enjoy an episode of Star Trek here and there but the rest(Star Trek novels, Star Wars novels, Robert Heinlein, Pies Anthony, and my arch-nemesis Margaret weis) are shit! When I talk about good sf i mean
Philip K. Dick, William Gibson, old Arthur C. Clarke (most of it),Kafka, and Vonnegut.
"Am I hearing Bitmap correctly? Vonnegut? He is a satarist!" you scream in bewilderment. The answer is yes and no. First of all Vonnegut is a satarist, yet the majority of his works are in the future or have sf plot explinations. I loved "The Sirens of Titan" It was a great satire. However it deals irrevocably with science concepts. But enough of that discussion.
All about Philip Kindred Dick. Includes a short biography, bookreviews, and links.
Here is the Asimov page. In other words here is the Foundation page. Asimov has been described as one of the greatest sf writers of all time. I wouldn't. But what the hell, the man could write a good mind fuck book.
Enter Arthur C. Clarke. Author of dozens of books, Inventor of the communication satelite, now in Shri Lanka he ponders the mysteries of this world and the next. Yada yada yada.... Here are a few reviews on his works.
Bow to thee! Oh wonderous of cyberpunk writers! I like his stuff. In here you will find reviews and my personal reflections on cyberpunk.
Waaaaaaaaaa Waaaaaaaaaa wa wa wa wa waaaaaaaaaaaa! In here you will find my raves and rants of Star Trek. I hope trekkies will be offended by my rants.
My tribute to the greatest six hours of film ever made. Includes images, links, rumors, and stories.
Imagine waking up one morning only to find out that your planet is about to be demolished to make way for an interstellar bypass. Enter the zanny twisted universe of Douglas Adams. Just remember DON'T PANIC!!!
I will try to update these pages as often as I can so forgive me for page links that go nowhere.
