This course will provide the student with elementary techniques
for utilising and neutralizing small unit tactics in the field.
Some preliminary martial science is requested though not required.

-MAS111Y Espionage & Geopolitical Theory: The Art of Seduction
Special Instructor: Cordelia Chase, MA

This course details beginning and advanced seduction techniques
for use in the field. Graduate student Cordelia Chase will provide
instruction in both theoretical & practical elements of the art.

This course will cover the use of ranged weaponry from the simple
compound bow & crossbow to modified stake-shotguns and energy
throwers. Special attention will be payed to special circumstances when
facing undead foes and modification of weapons to handle such enemies.

Students with four or more MAS courses may choose to do further research
in an unarmed, or 'open-palm', fighting technique of their choice. Students
must demonstrate suitable proficiency in said art before permission will be given.

Students with four or more MAS courses may choose to do further research
in one technique with a weapon of their choice (either edged, blunt, or polearm).
Students must demonstrate suitable proficiency with said weapon before

-MAS444Y Advanced Combat Reflexes
Special Instructor: Jack Burton

Under the direction of Mr. Burton students will learn advanced reflexes
and hand-eye coordination. Special emphasis will be paid to knife throwing
and spontaneous combat situations. Students may be required to complete the course
concurrently with a field project in Asian urban geography.


-MAS490/CYB490 Advanced Techniques in Armed/Unarmed Combat, Field Camp:
Sixth and Seventh Generation Androids.
Inst: Prof R. Countwill and A. Dulac

Students will join Professors Countwill and Dulac on a hunt for renegade androids
in the greater Sunnydale Metro area. The course will focus on tracking the
prey, choosing a weapon, application of that weapon, and will also prepare
the student for the unarmed hand to hand combat that may ensue. A brief study
of the behaviour patterns of the most recent androids will also be inlcuded.
Students are expected to be prepared for all kinds of inclement weather.
Prerequisites: 4 credits in MAS, with at least one in small arms combat,
as well as permission of the instructor. Enrolment limited to 4 students.

-MAS511Y Advanced Practical Seduction: Classroom & Gymnasium
Instructor: Prof. Madeleine Black

Students will be subjected to various seduction techniques, both in-class
and in off-campus laboratory settings, including but not limited to dining halls and
gymnasia. Prior service in the military is recommended but not required.
Open only to graduate students in the departments of Metaphysic & Reality.
