History: Subik's parents were killed in a shuttle accident shortly after his birth. He was raised by an aunt/cousin who lived in Shi'Kahr, in the household of T'Lar. At the age of 23, he started his study of Cthai and entered the Kolinahr immediately after. On his 32nd birthday he was accepted as the assistant to the Healer of Shi'Kahr.
Subik was gathering hriahv berries for a medical salve in the dessert of ta'Valsh when his "bond-mate", T'Praun, went in to premature labor. Subik arrived back with the berries to be told that his mate had died delivering their still-born child. In his heart Subik knew he was responsible for his wife's death. He should have been there for her and was not. He could not forgive himself for that.
After ten years in seclusion, there is no human term for what Vulcans go through at times of such grief, he left Vuclan and went to Starfleet Academy a few years later. He was one of the first Vulcans to join Starfleet, and joined becoming a Security officer, though he had an aptitude for Sciences, Communications, Medical and Tactical.
While assigned to Tokyo Base, he was given the opportunity to go undercover on he got a chance to be involved in Counter- Intelligence when the station commander sent a team to infiltrate the Orion Syndicate. Subik not only stopped an assasination plot, but negociated the release of several hostages, and most importantly, he saved the life of an Orion slave girl.
Subik had confidence in himself, oncemore. He knew he could be used to save lives. By this time he was well over seventy. He decided to go back to leave Starfleet and return to Vulcan and renew his studies in Medicine. He was accepted back with open arms, and soon regained his post as assistant healer.

Alas, Subik had gotten a taste of what it was like in Starfleet, and he longed to be out amongst the stars oncemore, so after a number of years out of Starfleet oncemore. This time he decided to join the Medical branch, but was kept reinstated in security under the Special Intelligences department.
Then a few years ago, he found out about his wife's real life.
While stationed as a Physician aboard the U.S.S. Stellar Wind, Subik discovered who had sabotaged the Stellar Wind, and who had been responsible for an assassination attempt on the ship's Captain, and several prominant Federation and Starfleet officials. During the plot there was a Romulan incursion, and Subik discovered his "bond-mate", T'Praun had not died, but went back to her home world, Romulas, with their child, "Sytek." Subik took his son home to Vulcan, and then was reassigned. Since then, however Subik has been on Romulas posing as a member of the Tal Shiar.
He also posed as a Klingon to get his new assignment, USS Nexus Station, however, before taking over as a physician on the space station, Subik wound up on a temporary assignment on one of the planets near Nexus. However, Subik was not aware that the espionage case he was working would test his metal, and bring into use all of his skills as a doctor as well as an officer in Starfleet.
