X-Men #77 - "Stormfront"

Storm asks the X-Men: CannonBall, Wolvie, Maggot and Dr. Reyes to come with her to her village, and help her fight whatever is there. They all agree. Psylocke, Elizabeth Bradduck, is coming to help too after a special request from Storm. Psylocke uses her "Shadow" power and transport everybody to Africa. And, of course, Marrow, who has been left aside ( heh heh ), joins too. Psylocke and Wolvie lands far from the village, and after fighting strange people that after they are being killed they become sand, Wolvie disappears. The other members who already landed safely in the village, goes investigating. CannonBall, who wonders where Psy and Wolvie are, disappears too.. (The X-Men aren't careful today, eh? ). What's left of the X-Men find the village people (not the band!)- that are not moving, and saying "Anasi" all the time. They also find Ainet, Storm's stepmother, that says she has to marry Anasi, the "Spider God". CannonBall finds himself in the Mine area, where he sees his ummmm.. his looks like shit daddy, who's pissed off at him for always acting like a little child, and that his father is ashamed of him.. Storm is getting angry and yells the "Spider God" to leave her mother alone. The "Spider God" uses his "Magic" and for what seems to Storm, kills Marrow, Maggot and Dr. Reyes. But, actually they have been teleported to someplace else, where Marrow is pretty. And Wolverine is a slave dog the "Spider God". The real world- Storm takes care of Ainet, and the "Spider God" suddenly rises from the ground saying "I am Eternal. I am all--" and then he's being cut by Psylocke, literally. The "God" gets pissed off, and teleports Storm and Psylocke to the Psionic Plane, where the minds off Storm's village people are. The "Spider God" grabs Psylocke that disappears to the shadows. Ainet shows up in the Psionic Plane, and right before the "God" is gonna kill Storm and Ainet, Psylocke fights him with her Psionic Blade, and even hurts him, but, it's not Storm he really wants - it's Betsy! after a short fight, he disappears (like everybody today), and Psylocke is left to read the village people minds. But it's another trap! The one thought she read, in a split second, combined into million thoughts and she was their target, as you've guessed - it was a trap again. The explosion of her being hit was psionaclly sounded through the Earth. Now, with the Psionic power, the "Spider God" can show his true identity - The Shadow King!

I really liked this chapter!! I liked to see PsyIocke again with the X-Men.. and I never knew it would be the return of the shadow king! poor Betsy, with her body mixed up like this..
