AS OF 6/20/98 WEB RING IS TESTING SOME NEW EQUIPMENT THAT WILL HOPEFULLY SPEED UP THE RINGS RESPONSE TIME. AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND THE OOPS CODE. A GENERIC HTML RING FRAGMENT THAT YOU CAN USE ON YOUR SITE IF YOU ACCIDENTLY TRASH YOUR ORIGINAL, ALSO NOTICE THAT IT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO DEAL WITH FRAMES (THANKS TO BRYAN ALBRIGHT).
Ring of Iron is set up for sites based on the Marvel comics character Iron Man. Now... it will have other types of sites on it but they will have to be comic or sci-fi oriented. I do not expect your site to look like NASA. Nor does it have to be huge. Just show some effort and keep it updated.
There will be no adult, X rated, or porno sites allowed in the Ring of Iron. Sites will be reviewed (yes there is more than one Web master here) on a regular basis. Children will be using this ring so keep it clean! Sites that are not maintained or display porno will be dropped.
Even with more than one person maintaining this ring someone may slip something past us, so Ring of Iron takes no responsibility for subject matter on the sites listed on this ring. If you see any infractions of these basic rules report them to:
If you wish to submit your site to RING of IRON for review it is a very simple process:
#1 Download the necessary button graphics.
#2 Fill out the submission form.
#3 Wait for Ring of Iron to E-mail you the HTML code and instructions for installation on your site.
#4 Up-load the button graphics and install the HTML code on your site. In a place where people will be looking for it ie: opening page, links page, or web ring page if you have one.
#5 Wait for the Web master or his helper to approve your site (you will receive a E-mail on acceptance or denial).
#6 You are dialed in! Watch your counter go!!!
