More Local Establishments

You can add these businesses to your directories and can be used any way you see fit. Some of these establishments have already been encorporated into my Shadowrun Campaigns, and some have just been created for this page, but will no doubt be added into my campaign. As with everything else on my pages, if you use something in your game, please feel free to tell me how it worked, or how you modified it for you game.

Danny's Bar and Grill / Downtown / Restaurant Archtype / LTG 2206-70-4321 / Danny Veterini / 460 Main Street, Downtown / No Racial Bias

Danny's has become a cultural icon downtown. The restaurant/bar itself is one of the few taverns of it's kind left in the heart of downtown. Danny's is known for it's Barbequed Ribs and Chicken Wings. Although the food prices are somewhat high, the price of a beer is still cheap. Danny's has two pool tables and several dart boards, often running tournements of each.

<----Regis 02/23/49 09:55 Danny's is definitely a Shadowrunner hang-out. No matter what time of day I go in there I can find a runner, runners, or runnerwannabe's.----->

Snoki's Bar / Auburn / Restaurant Archtype / LTG 2206-75-8435 / Denitri Snoki, Owner / East 77th Street and Gotham / Racial Bias Against Dwarves

Snoki's Bar is a very seedy establishment located in the lovely Auburn area. Snoki is well known for his Super Spicy Hot Dogs and cheap ales, which are both made right in the restaurant. Generally the bar and restaurant isn't crowded during the day, but come 8 PM it's standing room only.

<----Donovan 12/12/49 09:23 Yeah those Spicy Hot Dogs are cheap and delicious, but I wonder where he gets the meat for them?----->

Little Johns Auto Shop / Tacoma / Garage Archtype / LTG 2206-70-9435 / John Morrow, Owner / Macrown Place and Venture Road / No Racial Bias

Little Johns Shop has become a fixture in Tacoma. Folks have been bringing their automobiles to these garages for nearly twenty five years now. John has a reputation for repairing vehicles perfectly. The shop doesn't look like much on the exterior, but it's three bay garage can hold six vehicles at a time. John employs a staff of 10 that are equally dedicated to art of repairing vehicles.

<-----DemoMan 04/04/48 17:43 John's the best in the business alright, but he's awefully slow. He's had my truck for nearly two months and I only took it in for an oil change."----->

Fifth Avenue Cafe / Downtown / Restaurant Archtype / LTG 2206-70-5159 / Buzz Cooper, Owner / 5th Avenue and Prospect / No Racial Bias

A quaint little diner in a poor part of town. Many types of American and Greek foods are served here, made to order. House specialty is bacalava. Restaurant is family owned and operated by the Coopers. The hours of the restaurant are irregular, as each of the family members are prone to closing early or staying open late. No hours are posted on the doors. Elainey, Buzz's daughter-in-law, operates a catering service out of the restaurant. Buzz's son, Frank, is a Lone Star Detective.

<----MercSarge 06/17/51 06:45 I was with Buzz Cooper during the EuroWars. He's the best soldier I've ever met. I don't know why he's wasting away in some grease pit!----->

<----DaveyBoy 08/30/51 14:24 Coopers not wasting away. He's supposedly a mid-ranged fixer in the metroplex. His specialty is getting into places other can't.----->

Fifth Avenue Medical Clinic / Downtown / Hospital Archtype / LTG 2206-70-3402 / Seattle General Affiliate / 5th Avenue and Ward / No Racial Bias

In 2050 Seattle General Hospital opened the medical clinic here in the slum of Downtown to give to the poor. All patients are seen whether or not they have the ability to pay or not. This is one of the few legal clinics that a SINLESS person can go for medical assistence. The clinic is operated soley on charity funding and federal grants. It is open 24 hours a day year round.

<-----BloodBath 10/31/50 09:31 I went in there around Labor Day because I was hit with a serious case of the flu. Before they took my temperature they were measuring my arms and legs. I guess I lucked out and didn't match up with the stiff that needed them.----->

<-----FaeryTale 11/11/50 13:34 It's common knowledge that Seattle General picks parts off of the SINLESS for the paying customers downtown. Why else would they keep ambulances parked outside of a walk-in only clinic?---->

Ordmans Talisman Shop / Bellevue / Shop Archtype / No Phone / Dr. Ooogy Boogy / Murray Avenue at Swiss Street / Bias Against Poor

A talisman shop for the rich and famous. Most of the items, both magical and not, are of no use to the real magic users of the world. This shop carries much in the way of good luck charms and other toys for the wealthy. Doctor Ooogy Boogy lost his medical license in 2035 for undisclosed reasons, then opened this shop of paranormal items.

<----KodakMan 01/14/37 15:34 Ooogy Boogy is a powerful shaman. He's one of those bug things. He's creepy and reminds me of a spider.----->

<----DanceswithToads 03/23/44 16:32 I buy all of my magic stuff from Boogy. It's all great stuff and well worth the money he charges for it. Don't be fooled by imitations.....come to Boogy's.

Willy's Tavern / Downtown / Restaurant Archtype / No Phone / Sal Unida / 82nd at Ventura / Bias Against NonGang members

Willy's is a seedy bar under gang control. The local gang, the Skulls, frequent this bar and tend to consider it their headquarters, although they don't really have much turf to operate. They are definitely a small gang, perhaps twenty members in all. The have a tendency to roll most of the patrons of the bar for nuyen without causing much harm. The bar itself is nothing more than a couple booths and a long bar. There is a juke box and several video games, however, they are all broken.

<-----Dandelions 03/23/49 16:56 This gang is the biggest joke in the sprawl. There are 26 members and they own two guns. I wonder if they have bullets for the guns?----->

Franks Pizza Parlor / Tacoma / Restaurant Archtype / LTG 2206-73-4401 / Frank DeAmato / Evergreen and Snoquami Pass / No Racial Bias

Franks is the last of the great Pizza Parlors, not only in the Seattle Metroplex, but probably in the entire UCAS. Owned and operated solely by the DeAmato family for over a hundred and fifty years, they have been providing the best pizza around. Unlike other Pizza joints, Franks does not deliver, nor do they have tables to "eat-in". It is strictly a carry out business, and a very successful business it is. Franks is open Monday through Saturday 4 PM till Midnight, closing only on Sundays.

<-----Munchmeiser 11/12/48 21:11 Yeah, this is the best pizza in and around the sprawl. I remember when I moved to Bug City, I had to have chummers of mine mail me a pie, cause I got sick of Bug Style Pizza.----->

<-----FrightFace 10/02/50 11:51 Some of my runner chums tell me that Franks is a mafia front and that Frank controls most of the area mafia. It's a hard thing to believe, but hell.....his family has been situated in that neighborhood for almost 200 years!----->

<-----EasyOut 02/28/51 08:13 You guys have to really get out and get a life. Everything in the world isn't seedy and controlled by the mafia, yakuza, or even the corps. Franks is a nice successful family business....nothing more.----->
