When adding to a continuing story, it's always a good idea to keep in mind what's already been written, and use some of this material if possible. Here is a summary of details already present in the story you will want to keep in mind.

An artic meteor shower is causing electricity to simply not work. It isn't that the power is down, because electricity is not working in battery operated machines or emergency generators. Biological electricity (the natural electricity that works in our bodies) is obviously still "working," but it is no longer able to be harvested, at least by the means that our society uses it today.

JENNA:
Aaron's wife.
Gardener.
Works in a gardening store in Oak Creek.
Currently: In down-town Oak Creek to make sure the plants at the nursery get watered.

AARON:
Jenna's Husband.
Works with computers Currently: In down-town Oak Creek because his wife wanted to make sure the plants at the nursery got watered.

JIM:
Medical student.
Currently: Helping survivors of the train wreck. He has just found a little boy, separated from any relatives, named Thomas.

JERRY:
Mother of two, boy named Johnny, and daugther, named Jonna...(maybe twins?).
Has asthma.
Currently: Has just collapsed in an asthma atack after finding her son Johnny in the arcade in a darkened mall.

JOHNNY:
Jerry's son, Jonnas brother.
Currently: In arcade in blackened mall.

JONNA
Jerry's daughter, Johnny's sister .
Currently: with mother in arcade in blackened mall..

SUSAN:
Professor
Currently: In class, students have left. She had been knocked out and just woke up and is calling for help.

BILLY:
Could be a professor or student at the University where Susan works. Familiar with science facilities there and working on an experiment.
Calls Susan by first name. Unclear as of yet what there relationship is.
Currently: Trying to make sure that the temperature doesn't drop and make a dangerous experiment unstable. Here's Susan call for help.

THOMAS: Little boy stranded after train wreck. CURRENTLY: With Jim.

Be careful not to change any established character traits without suitable explaination, but don't be afraid to add traits to characters either. None of the characters as of yet have physical descriptions of them, or last names. The location of most of the characters is unsure, and I would not assume they are in the same town. Jim's levitating train, Jenna and Aaron's small town of Oak Creek, Jerry's Mall, and Susan and Billy's University certainly do not seem like they could all be in one place...though some of them could be tied together. Feel free to add details, connect characters, add new characters, and explore setting in your additions to WHEN THE SKY FELL. Also, you don't have to limit yourself chronologically. If you want to submit an addition set before the last current section of the story, and it does not conflict with any of the other sections, please submit it. (In these cases it would be helpful if you would state what episode it follows so I can order it chronologically.) Thanks!
