"The Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program (FHPAP) is a housing assistance program that assists people to prevent homelessness.
By providing services like budget counseling, paying for damage deposits, and even first month's rent, the FHPAP program assists families and individuals who are imminently homeless, or living in shelters to stabilize their housing.
It also assists youth and those who are seriously and persistently mentally ill with their housing needs.
