About this webpage
This page is dedicated to our homeless friends and allies in Japan, with whom we stand in solidarity. For the past couple of years (at least!) we've been exchanging emails and information with our Japanese homeless friends in Osaka, Japan who have been the target of repeated harassment from Osaka City authorities. Constantly our friends have been ordered and/or forced to uproot themselves from wherever they are trying to make a stand and given no sane, reasonable alternatives and no acceptable place to go to.
The latest outrage against them took place on December 15th,2003, when the City of Osaka forcibly removed their "karaoke-huts" from Tennouji Park. (Our friends' email follows below).
We urge caring human beings to take action and join in our world-wide boycott of Osaka. (see Global Boycott for Homeless Rights in Links section).
Also:"Here is e-mail address for any one desiring to send a warm Merry Christmas and Happy New Year letter on this subject of discrimination against our displaced world wide international family of poor and homeless in Japan or a support letter please e-mail it to opinion@japantimes.co.jp and BCC list if possible."- William Tinker, Advocate for Disabled, Displaced & Homeless

Comrades;

these are fotos about "hospitality of osaKKKa city" on morning of 15 December 2003. we will continue to fight against a "so merciful" city of osaKKKa and its subjects. THEY also will plan to push homeless comrades in new Auschwitzs-Kamagasaki on end of this year(2003). dull NPOs and dull marxists join to push homeless comrades in there. (we know they have supported POLITICS of this FASCIST CITY since 1999.)

Tsurumai park is one of the park that our homeless comrades have lived in nagoya city. nagoya city authorities will open "Shirakawa Emergency Asylum" on November, and will sweep our comrades and tents out, and then, will throw our comrades into "Emergency Asylum" like a Nagai park's one. NO MORE AUSCHWITZs!! we are not looking forward to japanese government, city governments, and THEIR LAWS. we shall squat in "public spaces" for our free humanity and human dignity. (rebel_jill)"
