Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, I now live in Red Deer, Alberta.
I am VERY aries, attitudes and all :)

I am 37, in the process of divorce, with a 17 year old son who lives with his father now, but is still the light of my life.
I was married at 19, to a good man, but, well... stuff happens, we grew apart, and now, we're going our seperate ways. I hope he will be as happy as I expect to be in his new life. Our son, Jon is handling this as well as can be expected, but even an amicable divorce is hard on the children. It helps that my ex is such a good father. :-)
I am now living alone, in a small apartment in downtown Red Deer.
Most of my family still lives in or near Toronto.
I'm currently single, for the most part, but have started to date regularly.

I am a solitary, eclectic pagan witch, and I seem to have leanings towards Celtic, NA and Norse teachings. I am going back to researching these panthenons as you read this.
My hobbies include studying religion, reading and writing(mostly science fiction and fantasy), various crafts, and spending time with my friends.
I love animals and the outdoors... particularly the wild areas.

I have no pets at the moment, but am hoping to get a puppy as soon as possible, and probably a couple of Bettas. My siamese (I love the breed) cat, Blue, died in August of 2002. I'd love to have another, but it's not easy to replace a friend of 15 years. I had to give up my dogs when I made the move to Alberta, besides, time, money, and city living simply don't permit it.

I love music. I listen primarily to a Red Deer radio station called "The Drive" on 106.7 FM but my hard drive, and CD collection is mostly country artists like Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, Paul Brandt and David Lee Murphy, but I'm really not that fussy and enjoy most music short of "gangsta rap" or bad opera :-) another particular favorite is classic rock (including groups like The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Supertramp, and Pink Floyd) and soft rock/'easy listening', including artists like Cat Stevens, Dan Hill and Burton Cummings.
