Vj ~ I am quite sure you have no objection to that, or do you envy her choice?
Fortunately, the internet is not monopolized by criminal brahmins who persecuted the shudras

I never knew about The Vedic Religion before.
Vj ~ Before 5,000 years ago it was the only religion for all the world. Greed for wealth and lust for power brought it to an end and false religion took its place beginning with Hinduism. You are a fortunate soul with good inclination to have come in contact with it. Many Muslims have done the same but instead of doing some of their own investigations as you are doing, they quickly dismissed it as Hinduism.
The article about Gods Realization through Yoga, The Five Yamas and Five Niyamas was inspiring.
Vj ~ How could man go to war or hate after the practice of these Yamas and Niyamas?
I also read your discussions on the other boards. I came to a realization that we can learn from each other when done with Gods Peace within us.
Vj ~ Very true, but you have something that many don't have - an open mind and this is where truth starts. My duty is never to accuse anyone falsely, but disseminate truth as it is set out in my site. This truth is in conflict with false religions and as such many are infuriated and frustrated by it. Compulsion being so.
Basically, Looks as though the title of our Religion, race, color etc... makes us who we are, which is irrelevant,
Vj ~ Religions have their founding based on race, creed and class, but true religion, which is without a mediator between man and God, is otherwise.
some forget that when humanity came into existence there wasnt any of this until people who were deceived corrupted mankind.
Vj ~ I wish it was only some. The damage that these religions have done to innocent souls and our world is beyond repairs, but for those who seek it, there is hope at least for them.

Vj ~ I have been asked this before and Muslims were quite upset with the answers I give, but of course what else can I expect. When India was invaded by Muslims, many Hindu books of mythology were destroyed, even the Vedas, which had to be imported from Germany, 120 years ago and many were rewritten to include some works of Islam. On the other hand, many Hindus , through ignorance or fear, accept it as such and to this day it remained the same. But to prove it false, is simple. The Vedic revelation is eternal which means it is revealed in every creation, and therefore it is free of historical references of names, places and events. It is also preposterous to believe that the Vedas prophesized the coming of Muhammad when it didn't do it for Krishna who came 6,000 years ago. P.S. I have other messageboards feel free to use them, though I would prefer you to use this one, so that all Muslims may know of a truth that was beyond their reach.

Asalam alaikum, I would like to say that religion is a continuous process.
Vj ~ Anyone can say anything but how is it determined as truth. It is this way false religions originated, someone said it, and many follow without enquires.
The voice that revealed the Qu'ran to Muhammed (PBUH) is the same voice of that revealed the Gita to Krishna (PBUH).
Vj ~ If it is the same voice, then how do you explain the Q'uran calling for the death of those (hindus) who believe in Krishna's message? A call which resulted in the invasion of India by Muslims. The Gita was not a revelation since its message in nothing more than was already in the Vedas and so is the Q'uran, since its teachings are based on intolerance, not only to their own, but all non-Muslims. They both oppose the first truth where revelation must take place in the very beginning in its entirety to the first human beings.
If I am in first grade then I need to get to the second grade.
Vj ~ How are going to get to second grade, if you don't get pass first grade?
The Creator leads all of Humanity and never leaves us to our own devices.
Vj ~ The Creator has already made His revelation and it is up to us as individuals to seek his truth. Truth is not handed on a silver platter you will have to make the individual effort necessary to achieve it.

Vj ~ No one can destroy the Vedas when its contents are instilled in the memory, hearts and souls of wise men.
What do you do for Svadhyaya?
Vj ~ It is self-study. After listening or reading abstruse knowledge of God, one must sit in contemplation to reason what is true and what is false, inorder to remove doubts, if there is any. If there are doubts then you ask questions to clarify those doubts.
The Vedic Religion was the only Religion 5,000 years ago..When did Hinduism start?
Vj ~ Hinduism started about 4,000 years ago. This means the Vedic religion was on a steep decline for 1,000 years.
Weren't they practicing The Yamas and Niyamas?
Vj ~ If they were they would not have fallen. The knowledge was in the hands of the Brahmins, who became corrupted and used it for their own selfish gains, instead of teaching it to the people. Of course, they knew that if they had to teach the people, they, on the other hand would not have been able to deceive the people.
There was no God but Shiva..It was sarcasm, Am I right...
Vj ~ No, it was not. It was for one to reflect on, that, if Muslims believe that there is no God but Allah because the Koran says so, then they must accept that another book can speak of another God the same way. If by a book Muslims are right, then why is the other not right by his/her book also.

Vj ~ It certainly does make sense, doesn't it? These are just simple logic, which explains irrational dogmas. These discussions are so important to one's life, to enable one to at least reason. Without it, no one can be happy muchless attaining salvation.
Who are these wise men?
Vj ~ This is an age of retrogression and decadence which began 6,000 years ago, and these wise men survived decadence and silently keep this knowledge, by passing it on, until the end. God is just and so must He in this way cannot deprived any soul of this knowledge.
we are given the brain, eyesight, and hearing and we are responsible for using them, which is stated in the Quran.
Vj ~ It is obvious then, that since man lived before the Q'uran, it was stated long before and that Q'uran got it from an earlier source and surely not God repeating Himself.
Were there any pious men who had their hands on it?
Vj ~ It was like as it is today only a few, and it was rejected by the masses then as it is now.
Do you think the Quran is not the Word of God? Why?...
Vj ~ God is Omniscient, therefore, there is no need for Him to repeat Himself. If the Q'uran is a revelation, it simply means that He forgot something in his previous revelation and if he didn't, then it is unjust because millions before were deprived. Revelation in its entirety took place in the very beginning for all mankind and if you don't know about it, it is not God's fault but your own. This doesn't mean an eternal hell because of it since you are reincarnated again and again until you get it. But it is essential to know as early as possible because it could prevent lives of pain and misery. There is no educational institution that would hire an illiterate to educate man and it is the same for an All-wise God.
The Quran does state that messengers had come before, some mentioned , some not.
Vj ~ Then you must ask yourself the question, why their messages from one God, and all opposed the Q'uran. It is obvious that if all messengers had brought one message there would have been only one religion.
They were sent for a purpose, to bring us God's message
Vj ~ The Q'uran does accept Jesus as one of God's messengers but Christ said, "I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life, NO ONE comes to the FATHER except through ME" John 14:6" so where does this leave Muslims and other non-Christians? Would it not have made more sense had he said "I am the way until someone else comes"? He also warned of false prophets and since he came before Muhammad and didn't mention him, then who is really false? The same can be said of Christ, of the others, who came before him.

Vj ~ You are correct, this is why you should not even believe in the Vedas also, but must acquire knowledge by reading them all and discuss them all as I have done to ascertain which one is really true. I was an atheist for 15 years before my investigations led me to the true religion of the Vedas so I know my subject, as you would notice from all my site and messageboards.

Vj ~ It is not purity when God instructs man to kill to go to Paradise. ".....And to cut off the roots of the unbelievers......I will assist you with a thousand angels, ranks on ranks..... Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors:..." Sura 5:54. Such intolerant teachings can never be called pure muchless coming from an all-wise God.
Also, the Vedas is one of the sacred scriptures of Hinduism. How can Gods word be connected to Idol Worship?
Vj ~ The Vedas contains no such things as idol worship. Sir Yamin Khan said it best, "Originally the conception of God among the Hindus was right, when they believed Him to be Unit and Omnipresent, but when they started dividing Him into different shapes according to different functions which they considered He performed, they strayed far from their original conception. The result was that many who were heroes in their life time, were gradually turned into incarnations of God and idolatry increased."ShaB - March 26, 1999

Vj ~ Mohmammad fought the Jews and even took some Jewish widows as wives and concubines after murdering their husbands and his followers (Muslims) fought everybody else.

Vj ~ The devil lies in false religions. There is no such thing as a devil (satan). He was created by unrighteous people to shoulder the blame for man's ineptitude. Evil is the natural way of created beings, and true knowledge helps man to practice abstinance for higher rewards (happiness).
Didn't God reveal himself to Krishna?
Vj ~ The Gita was not a revelation since it is based on the Vedas. However, through this knowledge by the practice of yoga man can attain bliss, which enables man to achieve the conscious state of realizing God. It was this state (samadhi) that Krishna achieved. God cannot be seen by the mortal eyes. He is a subtle spirit that pervades the Universe.

Whatever way it works out, you are going to come out ahead anyway.

Vj ~ You have already taken the most important step and if it is any consolation, think of the unfortunate billions who haven't seen it the way you do. You don't have to go anywhere; it is all at your finger tips and I am your teacher. This is all you will need.
Can I just keep it between God and I?
Vj ~ That is the idea to keep it between you and God since you must first save your soul before you can save others. You do not have to abandon family for this truth. As a matter of fact, it will bring reconciliation between you an family as you strive silently in this knowledge.

Vijai, I think that you should go back and read your history books. Muhammed (PBUH) never in His Blessed and Blameless life transgressed.
Vj ~ It is not history that teaches us of transgression, but divine knowledge. His first transgression was his revelation, which violates God's attributes of Just and Omnisciency. Do you know what these really mean? God cannot be called Just if a revelation takes place where millions or perhaps billions have already gone. Omniscient means He knows all times and therefore He knows that what He revealed (Vedas) in the beginning is perfect for all ages and until the end.
He (Muhammad) is the Perfect Reflection of God.
Vj ~ How could he be, when God had no wives? Besides Muhammad was not only a pedophile and an epileptic but an illiterate. If this is a reflection of your God, you certainly deserve him.
I would not want to be in your shoes at the time of your death.
Vj ~ Neither do I plan to be in one when I die.
God have mercy upon your soul. I, personally, would never say a bad thing about another human muchless a Prophet of God.
Vj ~ The fact that he was a polygamist and had sexual relations with a nine year-old child and his daughter-in-law, must be considered acts of piety by Muslims. On the other hand, if I keep repeating these pious acts and Muslims consider it a "bad thing" then we ought question the religion itself on how it defines bad and good things (righteousness).
I love Krishna (PBUH) and Muhammad (PBUH). I love the Gita and the Qu'ran. I think you would do good to study some of the teachings of the Qu'ran and the Gita.
Vj ~ It is hypocrisy to love both when they oppose each other. If the Gita and the Q'uran contain the same message of love and peace then what was the necessity for the latter which ultimately denounces the former as works of infidels. It is you, who have to do the study.
Both Rivers lead to the same Ocean.
Vj ~ Not if they are going in different directions - the Gita preaches non-violence and the Q'uran, violence.
Remember the laws of Karma which are taught in all the religions.
Vj ~ How can I forget, when you are sinking in it. The law is violated when sin is forgiven. You are good at remembering but it would be of great benefit to know how it works.
You are speading bad Karma and it will return to you.
Vj ~ "Bad karma" is being a Muslim (violence) and good Karma is an arya (noble), now that you know, what are you going to do about it?
Have you ever studied the life of Gandhi? He was a man of peace.
Vj ~ If he was, how come India rarely enjoyed any peace during his time and after it was divided 50 years ago. It was 1400 years ago that Muslims started killing in the name of Muhammad and they are still at it? If they were men of peace, where is the peace? Peace is only possible by the practice of true knowledge and the longer it is rejected the more pain (Islam) and misery there is for you and the world you live in.

Aiesha was 18 or 19 when she married Prophet Muhammed (pbuh). I can provide a link with very convincing evidence to support this.
Vj ~ If you really had any evidence you would have provided it as I did. Aiesha was betrothed to Muhammad (51) at 6, married (54) her at 9 and when he died (at 62), she was only 17.
Therefore, I am confident that Muhammed (pbuh) did not have any innapropriate relations with a child, no matter what even the majority of Muslims themselves may think.
Vj ~ How is your confidence when a father-in-law (Muhammad) had sexual relations with his daughter-in-law after asking the son to divorce her?
Also, all of the passages referring to war in the Qur'an were revealed in the context of fighting against oppressors, those who fought the Muslim community first, or those who broke a treaty.
Vj ~ This shows that Islam is neither the source nor fruits of righteousness. A thing of truth could never invite oppression and the obvious reason why Muslims were never free of being oppressors or being oppressed.
The Qur'an also states unequivocally that God loves not aggressors.
Vj ~ Then this God Allah has no love for Muslims since they have been the aggressors, raping and plundering other nations (Persia, Africa, Asia and Europe) to spread the religion of Islam.
(and history shows that they didn't happen during Muhammed's time) are unIslamic.
Vj ~ Makes no difference whether it was in Muhammad's time or not, it was the Q'uran that gave such instructions to slaughter the infidels (non-muslims).
What would followers of the Vedic religion do if they as a community were being oppressed, or if they had signed a treaty with a hostile force and the treaty had been broken? Or if enemies declared war on you?
Vj ~ They would have defended themselves, but no new religion or prophet would have been born out of it.
Also, I would like to know why I should take the word of your founder
Vj ~ He is not the founder of a new order but a reformer who brought to light that was hidden for centuries under ignorance and subjugation. Besides he is not asking any one to take his word, but for one to ingrain the proper reasoning habits by impartially investigating all religions to ascertain right from wrong.

Vj ~ Well, there are five tests that are laid out at the head of this page. Why don't you look at it to begin with? After all your life as a Muslim you must have some brains left where some reasoning is permitted.

Vj ~ Its affirmation contradicts natural laws, God's own attributes and reasoning, how could the Q'uran be held as an authority when it was not there for many in the past and those in remote regions who never heard of it?
If it is unjust for the Qur'an to have been revealed only 1400 years ago, then what of the fact that the 5000 year old Vedic religion had been "lost" for 4000 years?
Vj ~ It is not God's fault that it was lost, but man's ignorance. The fact remains, that when it was found again, there were no changes to it. It still conforms with natural laws and remains in harmony with reasoning and science.

It seems to me that Mr.Dayanand has translated the vedic scriptures to make it conform to his beliefs.
Vj ~ He still can't go wrong when the belief is in harmony with reasoning, science and in conformity with natural laws. If Muhammad had done the same, Muslims would not have been the idiots they are today.
He seems to have been rightly criticised for not sticking with the literal translations of the Hindu vedic text.
Vj ~ He was heavily criticised by Muslims also when he said that Islam was born out of a bastard and can bring nothing but misery to the world and to those who follow it.
This suggests to me that he has selectively, discarded the portions of the scriptures that do not suit his beliefs.
Vj ~ This also suggests to me that you are a bigger fool since he also discarded the whole of Islam. Perhaps you would be kind enough to let me know what portions were discarded?
Anyone of us could do that to any of the divine books, Bible or the Quran and change them to suit our semi atheist, rational view about life.
Vj ~ But all those who [Muhammad (Islam), Christ (Christianity) and Abraham and Moses (Judaism)] haven’t done it have caused nothing but divisions for those who follow. Until this day, they are still at war with each other. Haven’t you wondered why?
In my opinion Mr. Dayanand would have to prove that he had some special divine authority from the creator of the vedic to change its words.
Vj ~ Your opinion rested on the bastard (Ishmael) your religion was founded on and later a messenger who was a murderer, child-molester and adulterer and polygamist, do you call that divine authority.
If no such authority is given in the vedic text, Mr. Dayanand should not have ammended the text.
Vj ~ I didn't know you were a Vedic scholar, so where and what was amended?
Otherwise, everyone can believe whatever religious book they like less the passages that contradict their beliefs.

I would like to know if there is one ancient authentic text of the vedic scriptures, so we can judge it like Vijai has done with the Bible and the Quran?
Vj ~ That will be a waste of time for you. The first criterium of passing fair judgement on any scripture is reasoning and if you had any, you would not have been a Muslim.
However, the Vedic has to say that is what the religion is about.
Vj ~ It is about the five truths listed above if you can't get past that, it is needless to look at anything else.
He was problaby a man of high moral principle.
Vj ~ Wish I could say the same of the Muhammad. Isn't it strange that inspite of that God chose to speak to him (an illiterate) instead of Dayanand, "a man of high moral principle"?
However, it does not give him the right to change the scriptures.
Vj ~ And what right did Muhammad had, to change the previous revelation of the Torrah and the Bible? If he didn't how do you explain a new religion born out of it or the concept of one wife to four wives? Besides I know of what Muhammad changed but you are yet to tell me what Dayanand has changed.
One can not go around changing the text without being questioned about the justification.
Vj ~ And who questioned Muhammad to justify Islam? Of course, when the Jews tried, he murdered them and the old hate is still burning in the Middle East.
Just because we do not like the paganism and racism in Hinduism is not reason enough.

When Islam claimed it confirmed the Bible, it made reference to existing verses in the Quran.
Vj ~ If Islam confirmed the Bible, what then was the necessity of the Q'uran? Or do you mean to say the Bible could not have been confirmed without the Q'uran? If it is the latter wouldn't it not have been an injustice to those who followed it without any confirmation?
In the case of Dayanand's brand of Hinduism, there is no sacred text.

I do not know if a single text of what is and is not divine scripture exists anymore.

Vj ~ You will never know if that is all you have to ask. Nice message, but lack of justification from the Holy texts.
Vj ~ How about lack of good reasoning? You have 'holy' texts in the bible, torrah, q'uran and yet they do not justify that "divine scripture" exists. It shows that holy text, without reasoning and in conformity with natural laws, cannot tell us what is divine or truth.

why such emphasis on the greatness of India and the 'Aryan' people if these scriptures are so completely non-biased?
Vj ~ The emphasis is on the past greatness and glory of the cradle of civilization and her gradual decline because of the rejection the one true religion.
Is it not contrary to science to state that life began in India when so far we have scientific evidence that it began in Africa?
Vj ~ It is also contrary to the Q'uran that science has to tell you where life began.
what of the idea that there were some souls who had a 'direct line' to the divine
Vj ~ How about checking with Ma Bell or At&T? I think they hold the monopoly on all direct lines. Whom ever has a direct connection to the Divine, it will be a wise man through the practice of celebacy and never an illiterate with nine wives.

Vj ~ Such is the 'wisdom' of the Q'uran that it can’t teach Muslims the origin of souls. If the souls are created, they are finite and have to die like everything else that is created. It is a law. And again, if the soul dies how can it enjoy Paradise for eternity?
What is the role of women in the Vedic religion if they are the absolute and full equals of men?
Vj ~ I know Muhammad's first interest was sex before religion, otherwise he would not have had so many wives. Must the men of Islam also think the same way? In the beginning the Vedic instruction to man, who chose to marry, was one wife and it is the same way until now and will be so to the end. There must be consistency in revelation because God is Omniscient. There are hypocrites who create false Gods to make changes to please fools who constantly demand it and by it they (the hypocrites) themselves become prophets.
Has the Arya Samaj succeeded in reaching people who are not of Indian extraction in any significant numbers?
Vj ~ Not significantly, but we are thinking of changing Dayanand's text to include nine wives for every Aryan men, like Muhammad, and then perhaps it will stir some interest. If Islam grew to over a billion by four wives we should be able to reach 2 billion in record time.

this would hinge on whether or not an adopted son is the same as a son. That's not the case in Islam.
Vj ~ I thought it should “hinge” on the moral conduct if such a man is a messenger of God. Dayanand was not a prophet and received no revelation, but his character was unblemished, pristine pure and piety at its best. He never married, drank alcohol or consume meat. This is good enough for me to seek his wisdom since it allows me 20 hours of prayers and communion and 4 hours of sleep without ever having to defend his character muchless God. This is what righteousness is all about.

First we must know who God is, what are his attributes, Characterics and nature so that when we pray we can confirm our nature and Characteristics to His. He is wise so must we become wise, He is pure so must we become pure, He is bliss so must we acquire His state of bliss, etc.
It is God alone we worship, which makes sense to me.
Vj ~ When it makes sense to me that you worship God, then know you are on the right path. If you don't know Him, how is He going to answer your prayers? Many say there is one God, but yet all religions are opposed to each other. Why?
I am willing to learn Yoga, but I read in your article if you don’t do it correctly you will get an incurable disease.Why?

Vj ~ Smile now in USA and cry later in the slums of Calcutta. Many Hindu scriptures were destroyed by invading Muslims and those that remain were rewritten to include Mohammad as a prophecy. It is the ignorant who would believe in such nonsense in the first place. The Veda does not even prophesy the coming of Krishna, why would it be for a lustful sex maniac, who had 14 wives, one who was only 9 years old, his daughter-in-law and many concubines. Since the Q'uran places no divine significance for Hindus or non-believers, then the Muslims must be beyond ignorance to recognize a prophecy that bares no credibility coming from infidels. On the other hand, if they see it as credible witness to a prophecy, then Mohammad himself was a liar and the Q'uran a fake.
The Vedas is eternal knowledge that comes at the beginning of every creation and as such does not have any historical references.

Vj ~ I figured that if God created everything, then He created dirty languages also and that they have a purpose too in his creation. Are you absolutely certained that is the language or is it your mind? If the language is dirty and I am using it, then it is my sin. So why are you offended? On the other hand, if reading or hearing it becomes your sin, then no one else should have to shoulder the blame but the God who created it. I wonder why then the blind and mute are unhappy the way they were created?
