"Caring is like a tender blossom.
And, like blossoms, it sometimes withers on the vine. To some, caring seems innate,
an inborn common trait that would be evident in all. Sadly, this is not true. Because
of circumstances and karmic debts, too often caring must be learned.
Caring is like different shades of a color, a hue,
or an intensity. And, like some colors, it can be strong, and perhaps too strong. It
can wear on the nerves if the intensity surrounds constantly in a close almost
suffocating way. There has to be space in the atmosphere of caring, room to grow and
freedom to be.
Caring is not an easy attribute to establish if it
has not been learned as a child. It is foreign. The heart is closed off, the emotions
do not extend to that range of feeling. And, if there is an emptiness, for whatever
reason, it sometimes takes much understanding and time to begin to fill that space with
compassion and love.
There are many levels of caring as there are many
levels of learning. Caring is a learning experience. One grows in spiritual
understanding as one grows in the caring of others. We do not limit caring to humans
for it is all inclusive. All things, all beings respond to caring because the basis of
it is love. We see the sick and injured receive the help they need in most cases, but
what of the healthy, normal appearing people, animals and beings? They too need caring.
Not all need the same amount of caring and balance is needed in extending it in a
balanced way that it can be fully received.
You are much cared for by many. Your spirit cares
for you. It is with you. You are loved with understanding in ways that you do not yet
understand because the comprehension is not there. There have been experiences and
feelings that have overwhelmed with love but it is a passing thing. There is a caring
and a loving that truly passes all understanding and it does exist for all.
Taking away a little shield and opening one's self
to others is a step in being able to receive and in turn extending again to others.
After a first step, others, of course, can be taken, but this cannot be rushed. Each
step is a learning and each step should be integrated in the inner self before
progressing forward.
Why is there so little caring in the world? What
is the reason there are so many who feel so little? Many reasons, many hurts, survival
type situations and circumstances tend to squeeze out any atmosphere of caring. Still,
one person can create an opening. One person can take a step - both outwardly and
inwardly. One person can tend one blossom, one plant, one bloom and from that plant,
seeds of compassion can be planted for others.
In our world, our dimension, there is a level of
caring and love which is not known on earth. We wish to begin to travel to you with
words of caring and understanding. Those of you who read these words, know this - you
are cared for. And those who not read them are cared for. Take this knowledge into
your heart and let the seed grow."
