Tomorrow

        "We're speaking here of tomorrow, tomorrow in the sense of that which is yet to come. Tomorrow is not just a day, but a future uncompressed. In future time, there is also present and past, but this is a concept that takes much explaining and needs to be a lesson in itself. How do we prepare for tomorrow? When is it? What do we do with it?

        There are times when 'tomorrow' comes and we do not recognize it. That which we have waited for and perhaps asked for and at times prepared for can come and be gone. Preparations for future events, whether vacation, education, business, can be cited because there is usually a date which signals that that particular 'tomorrow' has come. Some people live in tomorrow land. What they will do in the future when they retire, what they will do when they are more successful, and what they will do when certain goals are within reach.

        It is important to remember that time falls not into categories but flows and flows quickly. Though at times the sense of time seems to stand still, it still is flowing onward. If we continue to look toward the future, we often miss the present and the experience of today. Planning for the future is a wise decision. Taking steps to insure that the path one intends to take is laid out in one's mind helps to ensure success. Still, there must be an intertwining of today and tomorrow, of not stepping too far mentally ahead and missing what is today. The more foundation that one has inwardly that is built day by day, the more one can face whatever tomorrow may bring."
