Voices

        "When we 'voice' something, we state an opinion or make a statement. It is for others to hear. When we speak, we use our voice to make a connection or to project an emotion. When we hear, there are many who can instantly know a person's state of mind by the way the voice sounds. Those who use their voices as a musical instrument reach out to connect with sound and words to create a particular feeling or reaction.

        When we use our voices we send out an energy with each word. The emotion of the individual along with the mental characteristics behind the word envelope it in an energy package. The same words can soothe or disturb depending on, not only the manner in which they are used, but the energy that is sent out with the thought. We have seen how some people can capture an audience with their words. It is not always just the interest in the subject matter, but the manner in which the subject is presented. It is well known by speakers that delivery is important. What is not so known is the effect it can have on others.

        Many people are aware there is an energy field around each person. Even if you are not aware of it or have never heard of it, you are still affected by it. A sharp reply or an angry reply carries with it a negative energy that rips or shreds the outer edges of the energy field. This then affects the person's body as well as the emotional response. This is a bit of an explanation as to why so many people are misunderstood and problems develop. It isn't what is said but how it is said and how the delivery package is sent.

        Often after conversations, we walk away thinking he/she didn't understand what I was trying to say. It may well be that it wasn't the other person not understanding as much as it was what went with the words. What energy surrounded the delivery and what emotion went with it? It is interesting to watch the reactions of others to different types of delivery. Sometimes the reactions are so suddenly different that we are left wondering 'what happened?'

        The speed of talking, the speed that is behind the voice also creates an energy force field. That means that the energy is sent with more than ordinary force and the energy is projected forward in such a way that it creates a different field or environment in space. Most of us learn how to block or shift or adjust in such a way that much of the energy that is sent is not overly difficult to handle. Think though of the effect of voices on the young ones, the babies and toddlers and youth who are not able to deflect the negative effects of the voice. That is why it is important as we speak to try to hear and feel how our words sound, not just what is being said. As we become more aware of the harsher or negative energy with our words, we can then do the adjusting to create a more harmonious environment with the sound of our voices.
