Balancing the Energies

                If we speak of balancing your energy, you would probably be more familiar with the steps.... balancing of the mind, body, spirit, balance in intake of food, the amount of sleep needed and various spiritual exercises for the attainment of physical and mental balance. Most of the time we are so busy 'living' we don't even think of balance or care to take the time to work on it. Then we wonder why our bodies give out or our emotional field is so rattled. Balance is important in all things, whether it's sound or silence, work or play, mental or physical. We are aware of this though we don't take the steps to really attain it.

                What about the balance of the energies around us? That is not so common a known fact. First of all we do not really sense the energies around us unless it's extreme. We can say an attitude or an individual or group was negative or the atmosphere tense or the opposite positive reactions are noted. Actually we are in a sea of energies at all times. We let our energy meld with the outer energies and we bounce off and interact with the energies of those around us. The more sensitive realize that when there is upheaval on the earth, the energies spread like waves. To the degree that a person has become sensitized it is an uncomfortable or disturbing experience. We absorb so much from our environment whether it is the energy in the home or in the workplace. Each of us makes a difference.

                As weather affects us differently, so do the reactions of other people. We can pass them by, ignore them, or neutralize or change them by harmonizing the "waves". How is this done? If you feel an energy that comes from an individual or group, protect yourself with a feeling of life force and light... this is, of course, if the energy is of a negative state. Let it blow by you like a breeze. Do not see yourself being part of it or affected by it. Intent is important. If the imbalance is the result of turmoil on earth, balance with the sense of grounding yourself. Be aware of the actual ground, feel the earth beneath your feet. Sense the foundation below you. Focus on bringing your energy into a contained area until you feel steady.

                If the energy is of a positive note, then flow with it. Let it wrap you with its warmth and incorporate it into your own field, but in doing so, let it become part of you, not overwhelming your own energy field.

                Be aware of differences in energies - the flow of the 'field' and the strength of it. If it is a different type of energy, one that seems unfamiliar, then observe by sensing and feeling. Do not be too quick to put a label on it. Simply stay balanced in your own space. The more balanced you become on a daily basis, the more balanced will be your hearing and sensing, and the balanced individual can share in a more harmonizing way. With more individuals balancing, there will be better group harmony which can flow in a positive way. It is not as hard as it may sound, just try a little conscious harmony in your daily living.
