Candy seems an unlikely subject for a spiritual
site, but it makes for
'sweet talk'. Some people have a sweet tooth and
like candy of almost
any kind and some rarely are inclined to it or
miss it. To some it's
part of the food chain which is nice to eat, and
to others it is a
treat, a reward in a sense. It evokes different
attitudes based on the
frame in which it is thought of and considered.
Everything in life can
be symbolic. When you think of it, we all view
things somewhat
differently and yet there is a common reaction to
some things.

A star can hear. Yes, you read that right. It
is a sounding board, a
maze of light points or light energy that
circulates and energizes in an
unending flow of patterns. The "hearing" is what
comes from outer
reaches of space. It can be from other planets,
other places or from
what appears to be voids in space. These
patterns of energy enter the
sound range and become enmeshed and sometimes
entangled with the
patterns which are already established. They can
become a swirl of
energy fields that can cause harmony or can cause
a sense of discord
though it is not like that of musical tones.

To many who like candy, it is a fulfillment of a
desire for something
sweet, or it has a particular taste that gives
pleasure. It is a mini
reward, a moment of sweetness because it is
pleasurable, and that brings
us to the symbolism. Momentary sweetness in life
is necessary. This is
not to say that we all consider sweetness in the
same way. It may be
that a quiet moment of peace is 'sweet'. It may
be that seeing a friend
and spending time together is 'sweet'. Parents
who enjoy their children
can find many moments that give satisfaction.

Life is a tough road many times. It has many
rough spots and many
trials. It would be well to consider for a
moment what can bring a
sense of a moment of pleasure in your life.
Perhaps it is taking a
moment to eat something pleasurable, but what is
it that makes for a
moment of satisfaction for your spirit?
Connection might be something
to think on and then go from there to connection
with what and when and
how. Silence is not usually thought of as a
moment of pleasure, but it
is a noisy planet and many activities so it is a
moment that should be
tried to see what it does for the spirit.

So many work hard, really hard. There are so
many who give so much of
themselves each day that it is inspiring to
observe. Yet we all deserve
moments of sweetness. We all need a bit of
pleasure. Too often in our
desire to reach a certain goal or certain
financial level, we forget to
take a moment for our own self, our own spirit.
Some even feel guilty
if they are not working, working, working. Treat
yourself, have a
moment of sweetness - look around you at the
people and places and
environments that can give you pleasure. Life
was meant to be enjoyed.
