"ARRIVAL OF THE HOLIDAYS"

"Arriving soon will be the holidays, a time to think, a time to remember, a time to honor. It is a time when joy can manifest, but it can also be a time tinged with sadness for emotions run high. Some have left and are no longer with you, some are struggling with losses. It is a difficult time for many as emotions magnify. We are expected, or at least we think we are expected, to all "be of good cheer". During times when the world is not at ease, when there are troubles on all continents and fearsome worries, it is necessary to focus on a bit of light. Sometimes that light does not come through as bright and as all encompassing as we'd like, but the very act of the focus will encourage the light to grow. In each of us is that light, in each of us, though weighed by sorrow, the light shines amidst the darkness. Struggle to find your level of cheer if you must struggle, or let it come to you gently as you temporarily set aside your woes. Whatever the amount of light that you can see and feel, let it warm your heart and soul."
