"Message"
Sometimes
there is a time that comes to us when there seems to be "no time". No
time is a blank space, a memory waiver, a daydream, a silent thought. Many times
we are not conscious of it, but other times we know that there has been a
'moment'...a shifting. We may perceive it as a shift in time or a shift in
consciousness or we may just dismiss it as a 'gap'. These are not just wasted
moments, even if they do not drift into the conscious mind. It is the
subconscious at work, sometimes in startling ways, sometimes in quiet, peaceful
ways, sometimes so softly that there is no awareness of any gap or change in
space or time. These moments are reprieves. They are rest moments for the mind,
they are silent boards, like a board waiting to be written on, and written on
they are. The reason we do not know the writing is because we cannot hear or see
the words that have been given. These come in language that is indefinable. If
you were to take several individuals who each have felt a space or a sense of
something where they lost their attention momentarily, each would have a
different definition. We cannot define these moments for you because they differ
from individual to individual...somewhat like a piano with basic keys but
innumerable combinations of sound. If you listen too intently or look for these
moments you are, in effect, erasing them. The purpose of making you aware of
these moments is not that the conscious mind will know what it has received but
that you may learn to treasure the silence, for in silence you learn.
