Jimmy is an embittered old troll. When he was young he joined the army got married very young to his childhood sweetheart and by age 19 was a responsible father who was protecting his nation and making the world a better place for his little girl. Then he goblinised (I’m assuming that whatever date the campaign is, it is early enough that a very old troll could have goblinised late) he was discharged from the army for being overweight and shortly after his wife left him taking his daughter to parts unknown.

Unable to find legal work he has spent a lot of his life being a standover man and running small extortions rackets. Jimmy is however below average size for a troll and as more and more trolls have appeared he has come to look less intimidating. Also age has had a particularly harsh affect on him, mild arthritis and a significant loss of strength has meant that he can’t work directly in a physical job.

Fortune has favoured him slight in his old age however. A chance meeting with a martial arts instructor (Dave) has meant that he can live in a small room above Daves’ dojo (where Dave also lives) and use the dojo (and a small firing range built out the back) to teach for nominal rent. Although Jimmy has had only a little formal training with unarmed and weapons training his life experiences stand him in good stead. He does not have many students but it is enough to cover his rent and puts food on the table. Dave is paid back for his kindness as when students reach a level that Jimmy can’t teach them anymore he will refer them to Dave.

Jimmy has time for Scab. He has been training the boy ever since he started into ‘shadowrunning’ (about a year now) and is responsible for most of scabs knowledge of weapons and keeps trying to convince Scab to improve his brawling abilities. Jimmy doesn’t allow anyone to get too close but Scabs relaxed friendly and moderately mischievious outlook means he doesn’t irritate Jimmy as much as most people do.
