CHAR'S CABBAGE ROLLS

Things you will need:

Brown the meat and add the veggies.  Add seasonings and remaining ingredients, except for the rice, and simmer.  Once meats and veggies are tender, add rice and mix well. This will be the "inside" for the cabbage roll.

While this is cooking, boil the cabbage leaves till tenderized somewhat. Then you fill the leaves, wrap, and hold with a toothpick.

You can top the rolls with a mixture of tomato sauce and water, then simmer till desired.

***My kids hate cabbage -- so do I for that matter, but I eat the heck out of cabbage rolls :-) Anyway, to get my kids to eat cabbage (for New Year's Day), I shred the cabbage and boil/steam to where it is almost mush and add it to the above mixture. They can't pick it out, and it's very delicious.
