Char's Original Cajun Recipes

• Char's Louisiana Roux Gumbo -- excellent main dish for those cold winter days; serve over rice and/or potato salad, and enjoy!
• Char's Louisiana Okra Gumbo -- this is my favorite gumbo of all -- excellent over rice.  Enjoy!
• Char's Red  or Brown Jambalaya -- a family favorite -- made with a tomato gravy; a complete meal in one pot!  Enjoy!
• Char's Shrimp/Crawfish Creole -- a tasty seafood delight -- a favorite!!!
• Char's Shrimp/Crawfish Stew -- a special treat for the adventurous tastebuds!!!
• Char's Shrimp/Crawfish Etouffee -- this is one of my favorites -- quite tasty!!!!
• Char's Fried Shrimp/Crawfish -- what can I say....this is a personal favorite of all.....can't ever get enough :-)
• Char's Cajun Veggie Beef Soup -- a real treat that goes well with Ritz-type crackers!  Enjoy!
• Char's white lima beans/red beans and sausage -- my personal favorite is the lima beans while my children opt for the red beans.  No matter, either dish is great served over rice or sweet buttered cornbread.
• Char's Cajun Chili -- a unique blend of meats and seasonings; excellent over corn chips with cheese and sour cream!  Enjoy!
• Char's Cajun Spaghetti -- a different kind of spaghetti with a special touch (handed down to me by my dad!!!); goes really well with five-cheese garlic bread!  YUM!  Enjoy! 
• Char's Baked Ham -- a personal family favorite; goes well with my own special baked beans, and candied sweet potatoes!  Enjoy!
• Char's Roast Beef -- now this is probably my personal favorite beef dish; excellent with my fav corn dish, green beans, and au gratin potatoes.  Enjoy!
• Char's Cajun Baked Chicken -- Excellent with my own macaroni and cheese dish and/or creamed potatoes.  Enjoy!
• Char's Smoked Brisket -- goes well with stewed potatoes, corn bread dressing (or rice dressing), and/or any other fav side dish. Enjoy!
• Char's Sausage and Tomatoes -- excellent dish and another family favorite -- served over rice with creamed corn (my son's fav), buttered corn, or potatoes as a side dish. Enjoy!
• Char's Sausage and Potato Stew -- another family favorite -- served over rice or alone.  It's great!  Goes well with a side of corn!  Enjoy!
• Char's Meatloaf -- yet another family favorite!  Goes great with a potato dish and a corn dish.  Enjoy!
• Char's Shrimp Piloo -- a tastey shrimp delight -- my very favorite shrimp dish.  It's a meal all on it's own!  Enjoy!
• Char's Cajun/Mex Cornbread -- a meal all on it's own as well.  Enjoy! 
• Char's Cajun Grillades -- a special seasoned pork steak recipe handed down by my mom. I tried to copy her recipe to the best of my tastebuds *grin*
• Char's Cajun Corn Soup -- this is a special treat from my childhood. Quite tasty!
• Char's Chicken Stew -- a tasty chicken dinner served over rice!  Goes well with side dishes of buttered corn and potatoes.
• Char's Chicken Fricasse -- a delightful chicken meal served over rice!
• Char's Stuffed Bell Peppers -- a yummy delight in my house.
• Char's Cabbage Rolls -- These are awesome!!!
• Char's Stuffed Round Steak -- a delicacy on it's own.
• Char's Oven Fried Pork Chops (or chicken) -- quick and easy. Quite tasty, too.
• Char's Sausage Cheese Biscuits -- These are a family favorite, yummy!
• Char's Chicken and Shells -- big family hit!
• Char's Impossible Lasagne Pie -- extremely delicious!!
• Char's Chicken Salad -- quick, easy, and tasty!
• Char's Shrimp Salad -- delicious!
• Char's Macaroni Salad -- one of our favorites!
• Char's Egg Salad -- extremely fast treat!
• Char's Tuna Salad -- Another favorite!
