The Graduate Returns as a Star


By 1947, Ronald Reagan was an established Hollywood actor.  He returned to Eureka in September of that year for the annual Eureka Pumpkin Festival.


 











Part of the reason for this visit was to promote the proposed Reagan-Wyman Speech Communications Building for the College.  Although the project never came to fruition, funds raised through Reagan's efforts were later redirected towards the construction of Reagan Physical Education Center.
