Our honeymoon was so incredible. It was honestly the funnest, happiest two weeks of my life. We started out in Paris, where we had a wonderful time enjoying all the sights. We then flew to Rome, which turned out to be our favorite city. It had so much history, and we stayed in this great hotel overlooking the Trevi fountain. We spent one day taking a tour of Pompeii. From Rome we took the train to Venice. We lucked into seeing the Regatta, an annual gondola race (really a parade) for which they close down the Grand Canal. Our final stop was Florence. We only spent a couple of days actually in Florence - most of the time we were driving around the Tuscan countryside. We went to the small town where Bob's great-grandfather had lived and met some potentially very distant relatives. We spent a night at a winery in the Chianti area, Vignamaggio, where we had the best meal ever made.
