On Sunday, April 22, 2001, St. Patrick School held its second annual Art Sale and Exposition. It was very well attended by parents, friends and members of our community. The money from the sale of the pictures will be again reinvested into art lessons and art supplies for our students next year. Thank you to Mrs. Melaschenko and Britt Angus for all their hard work in preparing for this event. Way to go St. Pat's.
On Wednesday, April 18, 2001, the classes gathered in the gym to meet Mr. and Mrs. Perabo. They work for Child Care International. They came to pick up all the packsacks that were donated by the children of St. Patrick School, local parishes, and businesses of our area. The Grade 6 class and Ms. Jones worked very hard to prepare the packsacks for the trip to Haiti. St. Pat's presented the Perabos with over 60 packsacks and more!!!!!!!!! We sent a camera in a packsack that was prepared for a teacher, so now we are hoping that we will soon receive back pictures of Haiti.
On Monday, February 19, 2001, the "in school" Public Speaking Competition was held at St. Patrick School in Cobalt.
Judges for the competition were: Mrs. Sheila Hill, Mrs. Denise DeBernardi, and Mrs. Carol Bailey. Here are some photos.
