You walk to a clearing, where it seems that everyone has forgotten about for turns and turns. The midday sun is warm on your back as you walk further into the clearing. You notice a small enterence on the side of the hollowed out valcano and walk towards it. A herd of runners run by you as you walk and nearly knock you over. A young lady walks out of the enterence and pats one of the runners as it stops by her. She glances as you and waves for you to go over to her. She smiles when you get to her. "Hello stranger. My name's Seprema. I'm the keeper of the runners here. That's why I live in this clearing, so I can watch over them. Would you like to come in?" she asks and motions towards the enterence. You nod and follow her to her weyr.

Once inside, you take a long look at her. She looks about 19 turns old, and has short dark blonde hair. Her eyes are a swampy grey/green color. She pulls a chair over to you. You sit down and look around. Beside the chair you're sitting in is a huge, empty dragon couch. A dragon's lenght away from the dragpn couch is a soft looking human sized bed. Seprema sits on the dragon couch and smiles at you. "It's a bit empty in here now, because I spend my time looking after the runners outside. Would you like to know a bit about me?" she asks, and you nod. "I was brought here to Sapphire Weyr a few turns ago, when I was 17. The weyr wasn't much then, and Jewel, our weyrwoman, was only13 turns old. Of course, she wasn't the weyrwoman then. An old woman named Concia was. After she died, Jewel became weyrwoman, and descovered a herd of runners outside the weyr. She brought them here and asked me to take care of them. Of course, I happily took the job. When Jewel got her green Rith, the little beauty would always follow me around. I thought she was just being playful, so I got to know her well. She told Jewel that I'd be a wonderful dragonrider, so Jewel brought me here, to this weyr, and brought the runners too. And now I'm a candidate at Everest Weyr. I hope I impress."

"I come from a runner hold, that's why I'm so good with them. My father was the lord, and he showed me everything I know now. So when Jewel asked me to work at her weyr, father was proud and let me go. My mother was worried, and wasn't sure if I should go and be around all those dragons, but father told her I would be fine. I really love it here, and I've made many friends. Little Danon is one of my favorite people in the weyr. He's such a wild little fellow, and he trained a runner I could never tame."

"Well traveller, I have many things to do now, but please come back again to see if I've impressed. Good bye!" she says, and leads you out the weyr and into the large clearing again.
