Before you head out to all of those New Year Eve parties please remember not to drink and drive. Designate a driver before you leave the house if your outing involves drinking. Encourage your friends to always do the same. Friends never allow friends to drink and drive. Remember that alcohol including wine, beer, coolers, and liquor is a drug. When consumed, they lead to impairment. Understand that your ability to think clearly and react appropriately can be impaired by alcohol and other drugs long before you become visibly intoxicated.
