This is my third plastic canvas pattern page.

THIS PAGE IS .... another one of my never finished projects!

These are designs done by me, for use by me, but I decided to share with everyone. I wish that I was talented enough to have lots of free patterns for everyone!!

I hope that I haven't taken this from someone else, but I have been buying those expensive magazine holders from the stationary store, I think 10 in a pack for $3.99. Then I realized that I could make them out of a sheet of plastic canvas! I took one of the originals and traced it onto my plastic canvas and started cutting! I then tried it out, and it worked. Now I can make 9 out of one sheet of plastic canvas for about 25 cents (when it goes on sale) or less. I will try to make a printable pattern when I get a chance, but at least I do have a picture.

For those who don't know what to do with one of these when you make it, I will explain. For anyone with a Big Lots Store nearby, you can pick up 3 inch 3 ring binders for about $1.99.
Then after cutting several of these magazine holders, you take your plastic canvas magazines and open them to where the staples are.
Once you get them opened, you carefully slide them through the long slot on the magazine holder so that the holes on the magazine holder that go on the 3 rings are on the outside of the magazine.
Pull the holder to the middle where the staples are.
Then carefully fold the magazine closed so that it drapes across the holder.
Now you should be able to pick up the holder by the edge where the holes are and the magazine should hang down.
Now carefully place the magazine and holder into the 3 ring binder so that the holes match up.
Now you can get several different 3 ring binders to organize your favorite plastic canvas magazines.
I also have one in my kitchen now with some magazines that have recipes in them. I was tired of clipping the recipes and loosing them, so this works wonderfully!
Happy pc-ing to everyone!
