Must Conform to Geocities Standards In order to become a member of the PenPal Webring, you need to make sure that your site complies with the
PenPal Webring Guidelines, complete the form provided below,
and wait until you hear from the Ringmaster that you have been accepted
into the program.
It is very important that all sites in the PenPal Webring fall within the
standards as written above. I want to keep this webring in tact and
within the scope for which it was intended, as well as connecting some
of the nicest web sites on the net!
Your website will not be added until the following code is
inserted to your page, and is fully functional. The code must go on the
same page that you registered, and the contents of this page must
conform to the PenPal Webring standards. There
should not be any other webring fragment on that page to confuse the
people who are traveling the ring.

The Webring provides the Internet community with a different way to organize
content on the World Wide Web. (After all, endless pages of links and search
engine results are only so interesting.) The Webring is a way to group together
sites with similar content (or any pages at all, if one so desires) by linking them
together in a circular fashion: a ring.
The idea is that once you are at one site in the "ring," you can click on a "Next"
or "Previous" link to go to the next site in the ring and--if you do it long
enough--end up where you started.
