Nannie's Brush Tutorial

For this Tutorial, you will need PSP 5,   Nannie's Brush  and my PSD file for color fill   thumper's PSD file.

*NOTE* the PSD file is just used like a pattern fill would be, so when you download the PSD file you don't need to install it all you need to do is unzip it and open it in PSP 5 and use it like you would any other normal patern fill with the bucket tool.

NOTE:
For those of you who are unfamiliar with installing brushes, the easiest way to do it would be to go into your Windows Explorer and go into c:\Program Files\Paint Shop Pro 5\Brushes and make a sub-directory called nannies_brushes like I did in the example below.

STEP 1

Open a new Image 250x250 16 million colors with a WHITE Background.

STEP 2

Open PSD file (grainsmooth.psd), and make sure you are on the *color fill layer*.

STEP 3

Fill the PSD image with a SOLID Color on the *color fill layer*.
I used this color R=154 G=45 B=38 for this tutorial.

STEP 4

Now fill the 250x250 image with a PATTERN FILL from the grainsmooth.psd image, to do this click on the paint bucket then click FILL STYLE/PATTERN then click on the OPTIONS button and click on NEW PATTERN SOURCE/grainsmooth.psd.
